We stayed at the site with friends over the August bank holiday weekend. We received a warm reception from the site wardens who were always easy to reach and helpful when we had questions during our stay.

We took our tent and stayed on a lovely pitch which was edged by shrubs and bushes which gave it a feel of privacy. As well as pitches for tents and caravans, the site has log cabins and yurts which we would consider trying out in the future.
The whole site is kept in great condition and is certainly one of the best we've ever stayed at. There are ample shower, toilet and washing-up facilities (so never a queue) and all are very clean.

East Crinnis is a great place from which to visit the beautiful local beaches and towns. The Eden project is just a stone’s throw away. There is also a fish and meat market and a supermarket nearby so you are never far from barbecue supplies!

The campsite arranges weekly story nights where visitors are meet around a fire near the fishing lake and listen to stories from professional story tellers. There’s even a complimentary Cornish pasty thrown in!

We had a fantastic break at East Crinnis and highly recommend the site.

We had a wonderful long weekend at East Crinnis, August 2013.

The site is lovely throughout. The pitches are a good size and beautifully maintained. We stayed in Summer Meadow which had a great atmosphere and good facilities. The shower and toilet blocks throughout the site are spotlessly clean. The wardens are very friendly and helpful. The location is great. There’s plenty to do and see with and some beautiful beaches close.

Thank you for a great stay – we will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed with friends on the summer meadow pitches which are only used for a short time every year. They were well spaced and each has a hedge on at least one side so it felt like everyone had their own space. It felt very rural and like proper camping, without roughing it! The remainder of the site also looked lovely.

Location is great for sightseeing, and the grounds were very well maintained. Plenty of toilets and free showers and all very clean. Wardens were really friendly and helpful, also met the owners parents who were doing the cleaning to help out! You can tell its family run.

Enjoyed the story-telling down by the lake and fire one night, and we had some lovely days out in the local towns and beaches. The area is very pretty.

Especially helpful to have big sinks for washing up and a kettle. The summer meadow had its own facilities but it was all close enough to provide the option of both.

We had a fantastic weekend and I would definitely return.

Room Tip: There is good choice for pitches so just discuss what you would like with the wardens when you book...

I have just got back from camping over the August bank holiday with my 2 teenage sons and we had a fantastic time. I have been on a lot of camp sites and this is by far the best kept and most clean. the showers and facilities were new and kept immaculately clean. We camped but I have to Say I wouldn't mind trying a stay in one of their yurts or log cabins. The site is easily accessible to a range of towns, beaches, markets, golf course and of course the Eden project. A truly lovely part of the country to visit and a lovey family run campsite the staff cant do enough to help. I will definitely be returning.

Just returned from a weeks camping at East Grinnis. We were a little unhappy with our pitch when we first arrived, the website shows wonderful private pitches surrounded by landscaped bushes, this is why we booked it really. We arrived and were shown to our pitch on a rather unkempt field where people walked their dogs mainly. We felt quite seperated from the rest of the residents and quite jealous of their wondeful landscaped pitches as we walked to the toilet block.
This mood soon passed as the rest of East Grinnis is wonderful. The new toilet / shower block is absolutely spotless. The site is family run and staff are wonderfully helpful and work so hard to keep guests happy.
We took part in the story telling around the lake, complete with Cornish Pasty supper and a camp fire - all free. Great fun and a little extra special touch that East Grinnis organised. We would defininately return without a second thought as this is probably the nicest camp site we've visited in the uk, so peaceful and relaxed, but would state we need an electric pitch as this could be the deciding factor as to whether you get the fab pitches or the field. Don't get me wrong, we did settle in to the peace and quiet of the field (there are only 3 pitches), but we enjoy feeling part of the camping community and would have loved one of the pitches as they are shown on the website.

We visited East Crinnis camping for one week with our tent in June 2013. We received a very warm welcome, great hosts, friendly people on site and excellent facilities. The shower and toilet block were pristine and brand new, there were freezers for anyone to use, a handy information room and washing machines for a small charge.

Great location with easy access to pubs, restaurants, beautiful beaches and towns.

A first class campsite and one which I would definitely return to

Room Tip: Choose a pitch further into the campsite for extra privacy and quiet
