After much deliberation we decided to choose the Britannia Inn for our family christmas meal.
The customer service was very poor from the initial booking. The woman on the phone was rather blunt, and it felt like she didn't have time for us. Not the sort of attitude you'd expect at any time of year, let alone Christmas.
We then called at a later date to confirm our menu choices, and they hadn't even put our booking in the system for the time/date requested and were now "fully booked".
We have subsequently booked somewhere else for our family meal, needless to say they were pleased to have our custom and have managed to squeeze us in despite it being a late booking.
We used to visit the Brit for regular family meals, but after this debacle, I very much doubt that we will return.More
