A lovely cosy pub with spacious and varied beer gardens;play area for children, Koi pond, lots of benches, band-stand, roof terrace, large sun umbrellas. We were lucky to get a table on a busy Sunday and had the carvery and the scampi. Food was average but plentiful, no complaints. Service was excellent. We visited again but just for drinks later in the week.

Nice looking pub, but average staff and food.
Bread was stale, and at £5.95, expected much more.

Steak was overpriced and was not pleasant.

Expected more.
There are far better pubs in the area

Had lunch in the garden. Portions huge, had to take away some of my ploughman lunch!
Seagulls very quick to fly in to eat leftovers, so be careful.

This pleasant and busy pub with good fresh food is a delight to eat in. Old fashioned setting inside with lots of outside seating. Excellent carvery or al a carte at very reasonable prices.
