Lovely b&b with fabulous host, comfy bed and great food. Can't imagine there is another closer to the Eden Project; we walked door to door in 25 mins.

We booked this guesthouse as a last minute bank holiday break for us and our daughter. We were surprised to find this lovely modern and spotlessly clean accomadation, the rooms are a good size and very comfy. Mike the owner was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a good choice of yoghurts, cereals and a hearty cooked breakfast made up of all local produce. We had a great couple of days there and will certainly be returning in the not too distant future!!. We would definately recommend the Penarth Guest House!!

Mike was an excellent host and breakfast was top-notch. Being located halfway betweeen a 24 hour Tesco and the Eden Project meant that most things we needed were close by.

the rooms were immaculately fitted out and exceedlingly comfortable.

5 star ratings from the start. Mike is a wonderful host. The house is spotless, the finish superb and the locality great. Everything is finished to an extremely high standard. The choice and presentation of breakfast excellent. The added bonus of having a local pub just on your doorstep is also great. Will certainly return.

Room Tip: Sea views in the distance. Beautiful.

The place looked just like the picture on the booking site, which is so rare these days.
It's was really clean and pretty and the bathroom also included a bidet.

There was a large choice for breakfast which is served at whatever time you like.
The host was very welcoming and goes out of his way for you.
I left my shoes behind and he was kind enough to mail them back to me.

We spent four nights at the Penarth Guest house and were very pleased with our choice. Mike the new owner has made a fantastic job bringing the guest house up to date and keeps it spotless. We stayed in two rooms both had en suite shower rooms which were of a very high standard. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and well cooked. We can't say enough good points about our stay, Mike made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We can thoroughly recommend this Guest House and will return. The Britannia Inn not too far away served good quality evening meals.
