This Pub just gets better and better... this is the second year we have stopped here, this time for five days. Quite honesty, this place is what its all about- kind, friendly service, great accomodation, really friendly welcome and locals, also its like going back in time to an England we all loved, no hassle, peace and quiet, friendliness and such a laid back approach. We will always come here, as for us it has all that is needed for a great holiday. The breakfast is fantastic too.In the evening you have a great juke box and pool table to keep the kids occupied. Specialities are the curries, which are well worth trying - thanks guys and gals for making our Cornwall walking holiday wqoderful ....again!!

Room Tip: Just ask for the chalets, they are all terrific!

Me and my friends spent one night only in this lovely B&B (unfortunately) and it was great. The location is perfect if you are looking for a small town and great views. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and you could have a drink in the cosy pub until late as well. The owner was very welcoming and so were other staff. I highly recomended it.

We really like this pub. Once again we stayed in the b&b units at the back of the pub. These are very spacious, clean units, each with their own balcony overlooking the beer garden, with views towards the sea. The staff at the pub are very friendly and helpful, as are the locals.
The food is simple pub food, though Sunday lunches are a bit special, the breakfasts are always freshly cooked and plentiful, and the beer is very good.

Pendeen is a good base for waking especially for the spectacular cliff walks with good views of the old tin mine workings

All in all this is a good pub, we visit regularly on any trip to this area, and do not hesitate to recommend it to everyone..

My best friend and I spent a night at the North Inn campsite on a short break in Cornwall. The campsites around St Ives were a bit mobile-homey and not actually that convenient for getting into the town, so we carried on driving down the beautiful B3306. Camping at the North Inn is cheap (£4 pppn) but there are showers and toilets that you can use in the pub. We had fish and chips in the lovely beer garden looking out at the sea. Breakfast was excellent - they are happy for campers to have the B&B breakfast (full english plus the usual cereals etc) for a very reasonable price.

Very much recommend doing a walk along the coast past the derelict tin mines. We did the 7 mile round trip to Cape Cornwall (more spectacular and less touristy than Lands End)

Pendeen itself is a slightly strange town - but the locals were all extremely friendly and helpful. it is a great base for seeing some of this amazing coastline without the hordes of people in St Ives and Lands End

First up, the North Inn is in Pendeen, on the north Cornish coast about 8 miles from Penzance. The town is long and thin and lacks pretty much anything of interest. The North Inn has a old-style comfy bar and serves good food at a reasonable price (for better food pop up the road to the Queens in Botallack - that's really quite special and not expensive). Curry is a speciality, but the other stuff was good, too. At the North Inn we stayed in one of the outbuildings - they have rows of attached chalets with a little balcony looking down over the grass to the sea. Very nice, but new and a bit soul-less. They allow dogs. What's best about this place is the walking. You're really close to the Pendeen lighthouse and the tin mines, and can easily stroll to Cape Cornwall. We walked in thick mist (fantastic) and bright sunshine and loved it. Watch out for the deep holes, though. Apparently there's loads, but they didn't tell us till afterwards. We'd come back to the area, for sure, but probably not to the North Inn.
