Great pub with great beer, great food and friendly staff. The locals are a good crowd to. Not too local to talk to us grockles. The accommodation is in purpose built rooms at the rear of the building next to the Pétanque pitch. Marvellous! The garden was full of Goldfinches and this is the place to sit as each room has its own westward facing balcony from which to watch the sunset. It's gorgeous.

In a field next door is a basic campsite for tents and the smaller variety of caravan.

A little bit of heaven.

Room Tip: Gets very busy with food orders. Get in early!

We have used the North Inn for several years while staying in the village of Pendeen. In all the times we have been in there,we have never been made to feel unwelcome. The North Inn is a village pub that sells food. It does not try to be anything else - hence you still have that very special atmosphere that seems to be lacking in many so called pubs nowadays. The food has always been very good and is reasonably priced. After eating, I have never walked away feeling hungry (a couple of evenings I can not remember walking away at all!!). They have a good selection of beers. I drank 'Big Job' during this years holiday and would recommend any one else to try it!

Stopped by for a couple of drinks after a nice afternoon walk. Was made to feel very welcome and they even allowed our two very large dogs to come in! A wide selection of St Austell beers. We returned later one evening and the food was very tasty and the same friendly welcome. Would like to come back and stay, it's a gem!

We were visiting family and decided to camp with our young dog, the pitch was cheap at £5pp.
The staff were friendly.
The shower facilities could do with modernising and updating however they served the purpose.
The food was excellent and service was very efficient.
We loved the fact they were so dog friendly.
All in all a good all rounder

Went for lunch, last Sunday. Ordered a roast pork and nut roast. Both served with AMAZING roasties and lots of freshly cooked veg. What impressed me, was my nut roast came with its own little jug of veggie gravy. What great attention to detail. Especially given I'm not a vegetarian but just fancied the nut roast as opposed to a meat meal!

Have eaten there 3 times now, and each time the food has been great! Looking forward to trying one of their homemade curries, which many have recommended!

They have a lovely outside garden, when the weather is right as well!

Here was an English pub as you remembered it ,all you needed in addition to the friendly locals was Dr Syntax in a corner reading his tour. A welcoming landlord John Coak ( do admire his braces ) plus a happy and welcoming staff. A good range of local beers.Enterprising John has built a set of bedrooms just to the rear of the pub including a well equipped disability room which was a great bonus for us. Good basic pub food plus a range of great curries which John designs and cooks himself. There are periodic curry nights with a wide range of dishes and you help yourself.Very splendid poppodoms! Very jolly affairs. Good English breakfast cooked and served by mine host. Plenty of parking in front of this granite hostelry. Cheerful village store up the road plus minute post office. Lovely garden with views to the sea. All this in the heart of the old tin mining area. St Just a couple of miles away has atmosphere.

Room Tip: Don't leave it too late!

We visit the North Inn every year when on holiday in Sennen. Its a lovely traditional pub. The curries are amazing , the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the menu is very reasonable, especially the kids meals. Consistently brilliant year on year.

Would recommend this pub to anybody. But if you are going in July next year please dont have the monkfish curry as some blighter had the last one when I went it this year and now i've got to wait another 12 months , still the Lamb curry I had instead was delicious ............
