I stayed here with friends in late July 2006 having picked out accommodation reasonably at random out of a CAMRA guide.
The rooms are of an excellent standard - comprising of very clean and modern units separate to & at the back of the pub. Each has a balcony overlooking the beer garden with views out to sea, a great bathroom and wooden floors. Very spacious and excellent standard.
Food at the pub is good pub food - with a trademark fish curry. There is an upstairs smoke free restaurant, as the downstairs bar is a local bar - and hence smokey at times. Breakfast was excellent. Within walking distance are great cliff walks, GeeverTin mine ... and even on an evening 2 other pubs within 10 minutes walk.
Well worth a visit and excellent value
