Just returned from a week in Leycroft Valley where we stayed in a treehouse lodge with our two children. The accommodation was spotless and all the luxuries you would expect were present on our arrival, we were also a little early and this was not a problem for the staff. The location was slightly off the coast of Perranporth but within close enough distance to drive there in a few minutes. In respect of the reviews that complain about the approach road being narrow I can only say that if this was all there was to complain about then they are being pedantic, this was not a problem for us all week and we rarely had a problem with oncoming traffic. There is little for children at Leycroft however they don't advertise that they do and the playstation and movies in the treehouse kept ours occupied whilst we were there. The location was excellent, the accommodation superb and the hot tub just added to a lovely week at an excellent location. really not a bad word for this wonderful place.

Hi Jason

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. We quite agree about the approach road....it is narrow but it is also very quiet. As long as you have a reverse gear you 'll be ok! There are passing places and we do advise guests to keep an eye out for them. The locals get quite used to visitors driving cautiously along narrow Cornish roads!

So glad you enjoyed the Treehouse. We will pass on your comments to our housekeeping team. They do work very hard to ensure all our lodges are thoroughly cleaned and ready for guests and we are very grateful to them all.

Best wishes
Bec and Shaun

Just got back from a fab week at leycroft valley. The lodges are set in a very picturesque wooded valley and the walk down to perry porch beach is very scenic (about 2 miles). The lodges are clean comfortable and well equipped - the hot tub is lovely after a day seeing the sights. We ate at the leats a couple of times - food very nice and friendly service. This is an ideal base for getting out and about in Cornwall and nowhere is too much of a drive. We visited padstow, Newquay, st michaels mount, Truro, Falmouth, Hayley and st Ives. My tip would be to give Newquay a miss but st michaels and padstow is a must. Really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely return to leycroft.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for my 30th birthday. We stayed in Mill Lodge 1 which I cannot fault at all.... We were right up the top overlooking everything and it was so nice to be in peaceful surroundings.
The food in Leats Bar and restaurant was also amazing, although I could hardly stand at the end as I had stuffed my face with sticky toffee pudding :)

Will def come again, although as alot of other people have mentioned.....the beds are extremely hard!

Room Tip: Mill Lodges are up and the most private, we had to walk right past some hot tubs on the way to ours...

Amazing location, fantastic staff and amazing lodge.

Had a 3 three night stay there and felt relaxed and pampered by the end of it.

The bar and restaurant were very nice with locally sourced food and very resonable prices.

We will be back for sure

Once again we had a fab holiday at Leycroft Valley. We have stayed a number of times in different lodges. We are always welcomed like family and the accommadation is always spotless. I have difficulties with my mobility and every member of leycroft valley are always concerned that I am comfortable and do everything for our stay to be the best that it can be. Lots to do in and around Perranporth, beach fab. Don't want to tell everyone really about Leycroft as we would like to keep this secret place to ourselves. Best place ever! Food at Leats also fab.
Great for dogs as well.

To Tracey and Lyndon

Thanks for your kind review. The fact that you have visited us so many times speaks volumes...thank you.
We do look forward to seeing familiar faces on check in day and out around the park. It does give the place a "family" feel which is lovely; something that can't always be achieved on a bigger park.
Hopefully we will see you again next year
Best wishes

Back from a long weekend, at possibly the best location we have ever been to. We couldnt be happier with the location, the quality of the lodge and the friendliness of the staff.
We were lucky to stay at a5, parking right next to our lodge. Our lodge was spotless, comfortable and rather posh!!! We felt very lucky, my daughter couldnt believe there were three tvs to watch. The hot tub was an excellent addition and had lots of use. We had takeaway dinner the first night from the leats. Such good value for money, portions were massive and good quality meat. On sunday night, we had a fantastic bbq. Matt was so friendly and took time out to advise us on were is best in the area!
Perranporth beach is so nice, especially the bar on the beach. Defo worth a visit!
The only negative i can think of is that we only had a weekend here! You need a week-10 days to appreciate the beautiful area!!!!
We will be back, as long as we can book the same lodge!
Thank you for helping us make so many beautiful memories!

My boyfriend and I have just returned from our stay at leycroft valley and after reading some of the reviews on trip advisor we were unsure of what to expect ! However we had a fantastic stay !!
We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff who gave us information packs and showed us to our lodge ! (C4 carne cabin ) and were then left and not pestered for the whole of our stay (however we were reassured if we had any questions then we could pop up to reception ). Our lodge had the kitchen , living space and bedroom all in one room and a small bathroom with shower , all of this was clean and up to date . The hot tub was fab and the highlight of most of our evenings ( we were supplied with robes and slippers, which was lovely , however robes could probably do with being renewed) .
The area was great , the site is situated in country lanes which made it that little bit more peaceful ! Perrenporth town and beach was a 5 minute car ride with plenty of car parks , we spent a lot of time here however would also recommend visiting Newquay (roughly 20 minutes away) as it is a much bigger town .
We didn't try the on site restaurant as cooked our own meals and ate out on the private decking , however lots of positive comments about this in the visitor comments book left in our lodge !
Over all really enjoyed our stay ! Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will hopefully return in the future !

Thankyou leycroft valley !!
