Been to many Weatherspoon pubs and been very impressed but this is by far the worst ever.

So far this week they had no ice no toast and appalling waiting times.

Ordered breakfast which comes with toast and also ordered toast and preserves. Food came out with 4 rounds of bread and butter and no jams. Asked at the bar and was told "sorry should have said the toasters broken".

Today ordered some cocktails and what a mistake, chap had to take a menu to see how to make them and realised he had run out of juice. He asked his colleagues for juice to which one replied I will go and get some, he stood for age waitng so I said to him why don't you serve the chap next to me which he did and the chap thanked me. The bar chap while waiting said have you paid, I guess he had forgot as it had been so long.

It got to the stage when I said to the chap I have waited long enough and asked for a refund. The juice turned up at this time so I took the drinks with a free extra shot.

Worst Weatherspoon ever, came to Perranporth the other year and it was just as bad.

We came across this little gem last year in beautiful Perranporth, Cornwall. The meals are superb and amazing value. The food is served piping hot and very quickly even though this is a VERY busy restaurant. We went several times last year and have just returned from Cornwall having visited it several times again and the meals were once again fantastic !! We have recommended this restaurant it numerous friends visiting the area and they have all had fantastic meals too.
My husband has worked away for many years and visited loads of Wetherspoons and he said it is the best one in the country . We'll done to the staff and thank you for the fabulous meals xxx

Had lunch with a friend. Our meals came out separately so we were not eating together. Mine arrived first.... It was ok, however the Duty Manager was waiting that day and obviously did not know the numbers on the tables. She stood at the bottom of the garden and shouted out the number waiting for an acknowledgement. I put up my hand and she stomped over and slid the plate onto the table then walked away. Not a word was said! My friends lunch arrived a few minutes later by another waitress who seemed more relaxed and asked if we needed anything else. A pleasant member of staff. The food was ok but nothing tearing.... just pub grub, don't expect anything else. Service needs attending to especially the management of the day!

We were on holiday in Perranporth and and whilst we have been to the Green parrot for breakfast and it has been OK, my husband and I popped in for a drink before heading back to our accommodation around 2100.
The pub was not very busy although there were only 2 people serving at the bar.
After waiting over 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge put existence, a gentleman next to me had said he hoped I wasn't in a hurry as service was extremely slow and apathetic!
Over 15 minutes had passed when a group of younger people stood next to me.
To my relief the young batman headed in our direction and stated generally that he'd be over in a minute.
We continued to wait.....
Only to find that once over at our end he had the nerve to say to me that he was going to serve the group first 'if that was ok with me' and he'd be with us in a bit.
With that I told him I'd take my business elsewhere, only to find he and his friend perhaps laughing at us as we left the establishment.
I can't rate the service anything other than a 1, as we recieved none and certainly didn't expect to feel belittled whilst on holiday.
Wetherspoons, I am bitterly disappointed.
Surely one key area in your training scheme is customer service, to be fair and to treat people as you wish to be treated yourself!

We used to come to the green parrot when it was an independant and hadn't realised weatherspoons had taken it over. On holiday in perranporth and had arranged to meet friends there for lunch with dogs ( not usually allowed in 'spoons outdoor area) but in this one we were welcomed with dog! Unfortunately the 4 meals came out but mine (ribs & chicken) was not heated through properly. I immediately sent it back and it was heated properly. Just an apology from waiting staff. Companions meals were ok they said but I felt they just didn't want to make a fuss. I was quite worried that ribs and chicken were coming out part heated as very dangerous! (I've worked in catering and know it was food poisoning waiting to happen)
We went back next day with other friends and I had steak. This was gorgeous. One of the most tender steaks I've had out!! And hot.
We would go back but I would also be vigilant about food heat awareness!
