Fish cooked to order. Crisp light batter, succulent fish. The chips - whilst maybe not cooked in beef dripping - are also excellent. We tend to order the haddock with mushy peas and curry sauce and there are probably few places in Cornwall where the fish & chips are better. I don't know if the curry sauce is home-made, or specific to this chip shop, but it actually does taste like curry should and has quite a bit of 'bite' to it, unlike the bland sauces found in most chip shops. Service is polite, prompt and efficient and the food is well worth the short wait. If the Hadock end had seating then the rating would probably be even higher, although you can always sit on the benches by the sea and watch the waves whilst you eat.
