“Wonderful Find”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

As my step-daughter lives nearby, she found it but I did look at the very informative web site and it seemed ideal for her sister and I to stay for birthday celebrations, sharing the twin room. Such a welcoming couple Graham and Sue, just like being at home and the place was spotless. The breakfast was lovely and if you wanted more you only had to ask!
Many thanks Graham and Sue for an enjoyable break, we will come again when visiting my step-daughter and will recommend The Old Railway Yard to everyone.

Room Tip: If you want ensuite facilities choose a double, but the twin does have it's own bathroom along t...

My work in retail construction as a Senior Manager takes me all around the UK and I normally stay in a National Group of Hotels , however I was very fortunate to find and stay at the Old Railway Yard B&B.
The best review remark I can use is ' its like home from home' The B&B was spotless, comfortable, and the atmosphere was very warm. The hosts, Graham & Sue made me feel like I was at home, on arrival after a long journey Sue made me a cup of tea and my stay got better and better.
Many thanks to Graham and Sue for making my 12 week stay very enjoyable, I will be back.

Brian.

Thanks Brian for such a great review. Anyone that comes back on and off for twelve weeks sets a standard for expecting quality in our books and we like to think you found it at our home. Setting a bench mark for future guests hopefully will encourage future friends to book with confidence. Thanks again Brian, best regards from Graham & Sue

A lovely B&B located just outside of Redruth. We had a lovely stay; the rooms were clean, spacious and well-decorated and, as my sister remarked, had beds that were more comfy than ours at home! Sue and Graham were great hosts; they gave us helpful information on the area and were extremely welcoming and friendly. I could not recommend this guesthouse enough; thank you for a wonderful stay!

I booked almost last minute and luckily got a lovely twin room with private bathroom & toilet. The owners were very friendly and I think it was amazing they designed and built the place all by themselves. The story was pretty inspiring too.they designed everything very well and you could tell they really focus on details. the building looks like brand new but its actually 6 years old. it is better than some 4-star hotels. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to my friends and families.
