“disappointing”

my wife and i visited yesterday. we were disappointed. wewanted to make a silver necklace only to be told half-way through it would have to be mailed to us. the girl running this activity admitted she had no training and had only been there a few days. the gem-stones found in the panning area were dyed glass as the dye ran. the food was so rich we were ill for hours afterwards.

“Great day out”
Reviewed 4 October 2011

My wife and I wanted to visit this attraction as we have recently visited Jersey Goldsmiths.
On the Treasure Park site are Cornish Goldsmiths, Cornish Silver and Cornwall Pearl.
Also various other retail outlets.
I must certainly reccomend a visit to the Redruth Town Museum and a must is the Tolgus Tin 4D ride, This is just fantastic.
The parent company of Cornish Golsmiths is in Jersey C.I. and is also worth a visit which also has Lion Park and Jersey Boat Club on the lake.
There is quite a lot to keep you occupied at the Cornwall site and all the staff in all departments were most helpful and polite.
We had coffee and a bite to eat in Starstruck Coffee Bar and found it good value and friendly.
The grounds and gardens are very nice and looked great in the 'Indian Summer' sunshine.
A Five Star place to visit especially if tou want to buy Gold, Silver or Pearls for a loved one.

“Expensive” and watch what your buying”
Reviewed 1 October 2011

Went on a day out with a coach trip and Visited the treasure park whilst on holiday in Newquay. We stayed around two hours had look around then played crazy golf. Theres a small cafe, a jewellery store, a shop with candles, a Aston Martin DB5. The jewellery was expensive a girl on the coach brought a 9ct gold ring by the next day her finger was green it was to far from are hotel to go back. Its not really suitable for young children, they had a replica of one of Princess Diana's dresses and a suit from Janet Jackson's video with michael. Took a photo of the biggest golden nugget in the carpark.

“Expensive”
Reviewed 20 September 2011

Visited the treasure park whilst on holiday in nearby Newquay. We were in and out within half an hour. It was ok, but we thought, quite expensive. We didnt think it was particularly suitable for families with young children due to the vast amount of jewellry on display, think children would be bored.
They have a replica of one of Princess Diana's dresses. which was pretty.
Overall we were a bit disappointed.
