“Great Carvery”
Reviewed 29 September 2012

We have frequented the Inn for all Seasons for many years and have always been impressed.
We often call in when passing and despite not booking the staff have always found room for us. Our most recent visit was on a busy Saturday and we were seated and called up to the carvery within 10 mins. Generous servings of meat and lots of freshly cooked veg. The staff were friendly and attentive as usual.

My partner and I went her for a friends birthday meal. The room where we ate was poorly decorated and parts of the ceiling looked as if they were falling down. We had to wait over half an hour for our food which to be honest was pretty lame. The food was nice but very mean portions and extortionate prices. The waitresses were very abrupt and rude. I appreciate they may have been stressed but what happened to customer service? I would not put the place down but I won't suggest it to any of my friends.

Wednesday lunch times good value as a carvery, dessert & cup of tea all for £8.95
but service dreadful. Long wait till waitress took our order, then after carvery we were just left sitting there, when waiting staff started leaving work we enquired at bar, who apologised took our dessert order then told us chosen pud was sold out! Perhaps we just had an unlucky day.

Have stayed here many times before over the years and it is still the friendliest Hotel i've stayed in.
The hotel is very clean throughout and the food is excellent. You should find the carvery will be the best one you have had.
The staff are are friendly and efficient and make you feel at home.
Good location for Truro, Falmouth, Penzance etc without the cost of city hotel prices and formality,i.e. made to feel you're just another punter..
Also 5 mins from Portreath beach, Hayle, Devils mouth cafe.
Thankyou Sue and Paula.

This the fourth time we have been to the Four Seasons so it's time we wrote a review. It is very much a family and friends - orientated restaurant - big tables with lots of people on them having a good time. This means it may be noisy, but you will find the atmosphere infectious!

It has a bar menu, a full restaurant menu and a cavery, so you won't be short of choice. OK, much of the food is (I suspect) microwaved, but what I had (a rib-eye steak etc) was beautifully cooked and presented. Our friends who tried the cavery declared it excellent (although the roast potatoes looked rather black to me).

So, you will have a great time here, and although there may be niggles in the food quality here and there you will, without doubt, have a lovely time that supersedes such trivial chunters.
