This is by far the nicest Guest house we have ever stayed in. We were welcomed with cups of tea, and informed that we'd been upgraded from a standard room to en-suite. As my husband has recently had a knee replacement op we were delighted with this, and even more pleased to see that we had the bedroom just opposite the breakfast room. The bedroom was beautifully appointed and decorated, with comfortable beds and central heating - important as it was cold and raining! The bathroom positively gleamed. The guest house is fairly centrally located, but is in a quiet residential road, no problems about on-street parking. Breakfast is substantial, and cooked to order. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, but unobtrusive. Can recommend highly.

Had an excellent stay in Redruth at this Guest house. Owners Mark and Marnie couldn't be more helpful and considerate. The attention to detail is really good, from a well stocked bevarage tray in our room which included local bottled water, hot chocolates and green teas, as well as the usuals, to really nice toiletries in the en-suite, and everywhere is so clean, and there's Wi-Fi too. The breakfasts are great too, we opted for the continent al breakfast which had plenty of variety to choose from. Nice to see that good old fashioned quality and serviceare still to be found in this modern world. A nice laid back stay.

Room Tip: Room 3 in the turret is amazing!

We spent a week at this guest house and were delighted with the relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness and congenial host. Located in a nice area within easy walking distance of the town centre. Traffic noise for rooms at the front of the guest house house was negligible and we were always able to street park close to the guest house.
Bedrooms clean, comfortable and well equipped.
Very helpful and friendly - we would not hesitate to book again when in Cornwall.

We were greeted by Mike, the owner of the property with two cups of tea - a welcome beginning to our stay. He was pleasant and accomodating but did have an overly firm handshake!

The room was fine, for £60 it was just about at the top end of what I would expect to pay. I think £40-£50 would have been a much more reasonable price.

The good:

- Welcomed by a friendly person
- Clean bathroom and toilet
- Good breakfast
- Plenty of tea and biscuits in the room

The bad:

- Very thin walls that you can hear the adjacent TV, coughing, snoring and talking through. Our neighbour decided on a little bit of light carpentry and hopscotch at 6:30am and we heard everything.
- Slightly odd smelling cushions
- Narrow beds (twin configuration)
- Duvet was extremely small, I was cold at night

I enjoyed a pleasant nights stay at this guest house. Impressive building from the outside. Lovely clean and well maintained inside. Although I arrived late at night, I had a friendly welcome and was offered a cup of tea on arrival. The room was comfortable and cosy. Overall the place was very quiet, even in the morning. The breakfast was delicious! Overall I had an enjoyable experience from friendly owners. I would definitely recommend it!
