Stayed for one night with my friend as our final leg of the John O Groats to Lands End cycle ride. We were both very impressed by the welcome and the high standard of the guest house. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would definitely recommend to fellow cyclists, a great place to spend our final leg of the ride.

We stayed for a couple of nights to visit family so only really needed somewhere to lay our heads, but from the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place was that bit special.
There was a very warm welcome from Mark the owner, the room and shared facilities were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with plenty of tea/coffee and quality hand wash/body lotion/shower gel and the breakfast was perfect. The owners had even made up the cot, turned down the corner and provided towels for our 5 month old.
It was little touches like this and the provision of a fridge/microwave for guest use that made our stay that much more special.
We'll definately be going back.

We stayed here on a Saturday night to go to a show at the penventon hotel, only a 5-10 minute walk away. We were upgraded and very impressed with the room and service we received! Breakfast was lovely! Nothing was too much trouble for the gentleman in charge! Would have no doubt in staying again!

Wonderfully decorated, clean rooms with a warm and inviting breakfast room. You will find the beds very comfortable with a flat screen TV in each room to help put you to sleep at night. The rooms are fresh and well kept with sink or en-suite in every room. You will be greeted each day with in room tea and coffee service. All the rooms have large windows that open to allow fresh air into the room.
To go along with the English ambiance is the option of a full "English Breakfast" or "Continental Breakfast" for the light eaters.
Child Friendly facility with excellent hosts. Well worth it...highly recommend it.

Stayed on business. An excellent welcome, a very helpful landlord with a very comfortable bed and just about every facility that you could wish for. Oh, and it is very clean.
The road is quiet and easy walk to the Meadery and a gentle stagger back.

I stayed at the lansdowne guest house whilst working in redruth. It is an absolute first class guest house The quality of the breakfast could not be any better at a 5 star hotel. the room I stayed in was both modern and very clean and well equipped with tea/coffee..

We stayed at the Lansdowne Guest House for two nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are superbly furnished, with a real feel of home, and are exceptional value for money. Colin, Marnie's Father-in-Law, looked after us as she and Mark had gone away for the week and he couldn't have done more, making us feel at home right from our arrival. The room was bright, cheerful, spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We chose this B&B for it's superb location for our visit to Cornwall and would most definitely stay here again.
