A great place to visit if your interest is model railways, meccanno and mining locos. The model railway layouts show all gauges and are all in operation. The meccanno models were brilliant and it was wonderful that the kids were allowed to play with many of the models. The rides on the narrow gauge railway as quite an experience with guard giving lots of info about the mining locos history.. There is no entry fee and we were happy to make a donation towards the un keep of the exhibits.

This is a real gem..taken back in time with memories of childhood toys, some amazing items on show, all types of model railways, vintage toys, scalextrics.
The place is at Tumble down farm run by volunteers , there is a small outside narrow gauge railway which has trucks and engines which originally came from local tin mines, so have a ride around the fields and take in the amazing scenery around this place.
Teas /coffee and cakes are available, no charges are made at this place as it is run by donations from the visitors..We took our grandchildren and we spent 3 hours it is fancinating.
Limited disabled access, but tours can be arranged , dogs to be kept on leads, curio exhibition is also available .
Please be aware that Tumble Down Farm and Moseley museum is a polictically correct free zone, so be aware that copious amounts of common sense may be applied without warning !!
