Lovely room; I booked a double but we were upgraded to a Superior Double on the top (second) floor. Beautiful estuary views, comfy super king bed and elegant bathroom. We stayed three nights.
This is a lovely, small hotel with attentive, helpful staff who get to know you quickly.
Lots of attention to detail. Bottled water in the bedroom, lovely toiletries from St Kitts, a local company, tea and coffee making facilities and the ability to ask for fresh milk rather than the one you usually get in hotels, which was brought up to us. I was also impressed that they offered, not only the usual tea bags but a good selection of other teas and herbal teas, along with coffee bags; I have not seen such a good selection in five star hotels. Well done St Enodoc.
I'm vegetarian and they cooked me a vegetarian breakfast every day, again I often have trouble with this so to do it without quibble was really appreciated. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but I am sure the same high quality prevails.
Lovely lounge with a wood burner; I enjoyed sitting here one afternoon reading in front of the fire. Candles are lit early evening too which makes the hotel feel very homely. There's also a small snug, a games room and snooker room, great for children, although my husband enjoyed potting a few balls. In the summer there's an outside swimming pool and a lovely terrace to sit on surrounded by beautiful gardens. Plenty of parking.
We took the foot ferry over to Padstow, which makes a trip very easy.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay her again; it comes highly recommended.

Room Tip: Top floor (second floor) rooms have beautiful estuary views

We stayed one night at this lovely hotel and wish it could have been longer. We had an estuary view room which was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The public rooms are cosy and inviting. There was a lovely welcome on arrival and we were able to leave our car in the large car park before check-in. We only had breakfast which was very good. It is a nice walk down to the ferry to Padstow. Don't hesitate to book this hotel you will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed the place ,food, service.Unfortunately it was at night and we couln.t see the views over the river. The food was good but we preferred the other ones we ate at in Port Isaac and Padstow a bit better .But don't be put off it was still very good food indeed .

Traveling through Cornwall we were just picking hotels at random. We were visiting Padstow but did not want to stay there. We picked St Enodoc Hotel by just looking at the map and we are so happy that we stayed there. The room was spacious and spotless with great views through a lovely panoramic size window. The check in was easy and very friendly and the staff very helpful booking us in for dinner that night. The bar had a great range of gins so we tried the local Cornwall gin and the food was excellent. Probably one of the better meals we had in the UK.Breakfast was good and parking was plentiful. Would definitely go back there - we did not have time to use all the facilities.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with a view at the front.

This hotel is by far one of the best hotels in the UK. We had our wedding reception there on the 7th October and it was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and the service impeccable I cannot recommend it enough. We had some difficulties due to the bad weather which Daniel and his team dealt with in the most professional way. They brought our reception forward at a moments notice and made our day so special. The food was amazing, the staff were so professional and our wedding guests could not praise Daniel and his team more. As a result, we have booked a two night stay for our first anniversary as we can't think of a better place to celebrate. Thank you so much to Daniel and the catering team for making our wedding so special and thank you so much to James the chef and his team for living up to his reputation as a very talented chef, the food was exceptional as was the service.
