...back...under the new management. Sunday lunch is no longer a carvery but is good value for money. The only downside is that the new owners still cannot accept card payments. This must cause a real headache.

We went along with our dog for lunch here before walkies (our dog was even given a dog biscuit). Kat and Ali are very friendly and helpful. The food menu is very limited for now (baguettes and things with chips) but it was freshly made, generous portions and good value for money. At the moment they haven't got a card machine so it is cash only.
The bar has a pool table and the decor reminds me of a large, tired butlins bar but for the moment K & A win on friendliness and good value food. We wish them the best of luck for the future and if we're back over that way again we would definitely pop in.

Called in today for a swift pint of Doom Bar, new managers in situ for about one week.
Really nice folks, keen to get more food available soon, just sandwiches and paninis at the moment.
Really doggy friendly too, I wish them luck in their new venture.

Though it can be leased. All is not lost. There is a lovely bar within spitting distance that overlooks the beach and serves up a good pint of Doombar and is dog friendly. And next to that, during the day, a small shop that dishes out great ice cream. Don't let the lack of a pub put you off Seaton (not to be confused with Seatons in other counties).

stayed there last year and dreadful. Thankfully Wowcher issued a full refund after no response from establishment. cold, no heating and pub closed for evening. no night porter, no phone signal. why would we want to stay at a pub that was closed. what an experience.

Popped in here after a few hours on seaton beach nearby, had a few games of pool and followed it with a bit of lunch with the family which was pretty good.staff were fine as for the menu, yet again its a decent basic menu but the food itself was good.No complaints really.

...and not everywhere is...particularly useful so close to the beach. Food has improved under the new management. Sunday carvery good value but it is worth booking a table. No local ales on draught but that is a minor point.
