What a fab hotel, from the staff to the food and rooms everything was exceptional. Clean, friendly, gorgeous food. Friends came in from another hotel as it was her 50th birthday and had a 3 course meal with us and were made welcome. The portions were great, it was all so tasty. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for you all. Once again, Thank you.

Taking safety measures
If I could give this hotel 100 stars I would. It was fabulous. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating in every way possible. They go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. Everything was clean and tidy and the food was delicious with a variety everyday. Walking distance to the village and many walking trails in beautiful Cornwall.

What a wonderfully warm welcome we received from Jane, Nigel & Dave over my husband’s birthday weekend in June. In spite of grim weather we were extremely well looked after & our hosts could not have been kinder or more attentive to our needs. Dog friendly, stunning views & a safe & spacious car park. What a lovely place to stay, this place is like home from home. As soon as you walk through the door you are made so welcome. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the bedrooms have lovely decor and they are spacious and have lovely views. The choice on the menu for breakfast was fantastic and it tasted fantastic. Would certainly visit here again as the owners and all the staff are friendly and helpful

My family and I had a lovely, relaxing visit. Andrew, Jayne and Nigel (and the other staff members) were very friendly and extremely helpful. Jayne even went to the trouble of buying martini glasses and ingredients so that my dad and aunt could enjoy a martini before dinner on our last night. I can't wait to come back and explore the area some more. Thanks again so much, guys! :)

We were looking for a hotel to serve as our base for our three day exploration of Cornwall. This country house worked well. It is not on the water, but the views of the rolling countryside are lovely from the dining room. This is a small family run hotel...and this translates to personal service. For example our daughter had her own room and had begun a special diet that includes a veggie smoothie for breakfast. The owner, Nigel, arranged to have the kitchen prepare this for her each morning. Nigel and Jayne also gave us good recommendations including a nice water's edge pub for dinner one night. Lovely people. Very quiet. A place to relax.
