Despite the recent summer kitchen fire, the hotel have managed to still provide excellent and delicious food in the temporary kitchen. Highly recommend the scallops which were fabulous and the chicken and walnuts were great too. Fun atmosphere and very friendly staff.

We arrived after a morning walk along the Coastal Path, both very wet with 2 very wet dogs. We were made most welcome & had a brilliant full English breakfast, despite the difficulties the hotel is going through following a kitchen fire in August!
We wish the staff every success as they deserve it for battling on.

Check in quick.

St Agnes is a bar and hotel so there was some noise on warm nights with people standing, drinking outside - normally gone by 10-11.

Room was smallish with two single beds overlooking the high street. Light and airy with tea/coffee facilities and large window for summer nights. Bathroom small with shower but no bath - could wish for the shower to be stronger but was just about acceptable.

Common areas of the hotel are quite scruffy and need some refurbishment. When we were staying the hotel had had a fire in the kitchen the week before so breakfast was cooked in a temp kitchen.

In all, ok for a short stay but it seems the bar is more of a priority than the hotel.
