“Absolutely Fabulous”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2013

We stayed at Trevaunacae Cottage and had a wonderful time. Anne and Margarete were absolutely fabulous , from bringing in our washing to send on cables we had left behind. This location would have to be the best place we have stayed in our 6 weeks away from OZ, Location is perfect to visit other towns and villages in Cornwall, especially when doing family history things as we were.
Anne had a vast library of books etc which we found very useful, breakfast was very filling and conversation enjoyable.
We can not recommend Trevaunance Cottage any higher.

We stayed two nights with Anne, Margaret and Duncan! What a lovely experience, it was so nice I can't think where to begin! Beautiful setting in delightful gardens. Welcome was warm and relaxed.
Rooms immaculate, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast outstanding, everything delicious. All home cooked and local produce.
Nothing was too much trouble for Anne, we wanted to find somewhere to eat in the evening and she recommended a few places. We ate in one of these and it was fantastic, we had such a good evening. I couldn't recommend this charming B & B enough. You do need to be reasonably fit as the hill to the cottage is pretty steep!! But, very reasonably priced taxi's are available to take you up and down the hill so dont let this put you off.

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of May. The room was clean, spacious and the bed super comfy. The bathroom was big and modern and it ran a good hot bath! And the breakfasts were cooked perfectly. The property is a short walk down a pretty steep hill to Trevaunance Cove, but after a couple of beers in Driftwood Spars you won't notice the walk back. A fish a chip place has also just opened in the Trevaunance Cove and they were lovely! This B&B is a good location to a charming part of Cornwall and very good value for money. Thanks Anne!

Room Tip: To find it you go up the steep hill from Driftwood Spars, right to the top, and take a right at the...

My friends and I booked rooms here as we were attending a friends birthday dinner at the nearby Driftwood Spars. We had no idea what to expect and were really pleasantly surprised. Anne and Duncan ( the owners) were lovely, the accomodation was really clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the location was stunning. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived at the head of a valley covered with primroses and bluebells. Opening the car door all we could hear was bird song. Greated by our host, we were shown to a beautiful, light and airy room overlooking the said valley. As if that was not enough, breakfast was served in a room deep within this wonderful restored farmhouse cottage. Experience wonderful and food the same. We will definately go again, that is if they are not full due to a great reputation.

Couldnt fault this cosy Cornish b&b. we booked a double en suite room, which was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was freshly cooked and owners very friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet wooded location on the edge of the village, just a few minutes walk to an array of restaurants and pubs
