I remember this Restaurant from many years ago when it was Trethowel House in its heyday having a good name and meals then being sold on to numerous new owners when it was a disaster.
We came here tonight to go down memory lane and what a pleasant surprise it was. The owner / barmaid / waitress ( sorry forgot your name) was pleasant and friendly explaining who they were and what they were planning to do with the place bit by bit as finances allowed as they have concentrated inside and will be doing the outside dreckly
We then went into the restaurant and waited the right amount of time for the starters and then the main course. We had the set menu which worked out cheaper but the meals were well presented / well cooked and of a decent portion size.
All in all a pleasant evening out in a lovely location which should improve over time visually outside
