The best place you could possibly stay when visiting the Eden Project and surrounding areas. Kathryn Anne is so caring and friendly without being intrusive. She is a mine of local information and fantastic with children. She made us an amazing breakfast every day (even cutting up the sausage and bacon for my little one!) and gave us tips for where to find the best rock pools (Spit Bay) beautiful harbour and shopping (Fowey) and beach (Polkerris). It really was like staying with family rather than a hotel. We stayed in the family room, which had loads of space and an en suite with a shower. The residents lounge/dining room is a godsend as you can spend the evening there while still being able to hear the children upstairs. There is digital TV in the bedroom and the lounge and also free wifi. The view is fantastic and there are horses, chickens, pheasents and all kinds of birds to see while you are having your delicious breakfast. The walk to the Eden Project takes about ten minutes and you get a big discount if you arrive on foot.
