“May 2014 stay”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

Just stayed a couple of nights based on TripAdvisor reviews. Everything people said about Kathryn was true. Very pleasant and helpful with great local knowledge. Given clear directions for the walk to the Eden project (you get a discount for arriving on foot) WiFi worked very well and breakfast was great. I'd definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

You are sure of a very warm welcome from Kathryn and a most pleasant stay at Treberthan. More than a B&B – it’s a home from home. Our room and en-suite were large, comfortable and well furnished with plenty of hanging space. Breakfasts were something special with great care taken over sourcing, cooking, presentation and in keeping you feeling well fed throughout the day. Set in rural surroundings, it is just about as close as you would want to be to the Eden Project – you can even walk there if you would like. Kathryn is a great source of local information, so just ask, if she hasn’t told you first!

This is a fantastic B&B , we had a wonderful time staying here, Kathryn the owner was the prefect host and guide. Breakfast was the best we have ever had and the rooms everything you would expect of a country cottage with marvelous views.Walking distance to The Eden Project and close to beach fronts.

Kathryn, what a wonderful lady, perfect host, attentive. beautiful location for a home, rooms spotless, beds comfortable, always tea ,coffee ,milk, there for a
drink, breakfast was something else, wow, a different flavor of sausage everyday, and superb quality and cooked perfectly, we both enjoyed the rest and ambiance of the place so much,
Kathryn herself is not one of those owners that will just see you have everything and leave you alone, she will chat with you and is as interested about you as you are about getting local information for your stay from her,
a truly lovely person, we will be returning,

Room Tip: they are all as good as each other

A wonderful place to stay.
Kathryn the owner made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A lovely kind and caring person.

Good location to Eden Project and local beaches.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Towels, shampoo and shower gels provided.
Lovely full English breakfast provided. Kathryn makes every effort to cater for your requirements.

Free wi-fi available which is great to research local places to eat.

I highly recommend this B&B. You will not be disappointed with the location or service given. You will be made to feel welcome right from the start. Treberthan has a great homely feeling.

We will most definitely return. My son didn't want to leave. That says it all !!
Thank you Kathryn for a wonderful place to stay. God bless you for all your help.

I originally intended to stay here with my partner for three nights as it was a perfect location to base yourself for the Eden Project and a few other picturesque quaint towns. It was then our intention to move on and find another B&B elsewhere a bit further west. Well........... we both simply fell in love with this place and we decided to stay a further three nights. Starting the day by feeding the horses in the adjourning field before coming in to eat one of the best English breakfasts I have ever had was too much of a lure. It was a slice of heaven but what really made it was Kathryn herself. She was such an amazing host and only too willing to help you plan your days which was easy enough to do as so many sights were an accessible drive away. Such a lovely warm person. She even introduced a new prize sausage from the local butchers for our breakfast every day and asked for our favourite on our last morning to have again. I can't recall receiving such service even from some high end hotels. A simply idyllic location and great value. Kathryn... we shall return !! Stuart & Loveness

Excellent value for the facilites and quality of the accommodation. A perfect location for exploring the Eden Project and down to Fowey (park in the public car park and take the bus down).

A very neat, clean and tidy establishment with a very welcoming and particular hostess. Kathryn is very obliging and knowledgeable about the local area. She even accommodated our request to take our cooked breakfast as sandwiches for lunch :-)

The rooms are a good size with windows that open wide to let in plenty of fresh air. The lounge available for guests is a nice place to relax - as would be the back lawn on a fine day.

WiFi is very good.

Worth staying at least a couple of days to explore the local area

The only improvement we could suggest is a bit more water pressure in the shower.

Room Tip: There are two doubles and a family - all are good
