Booked a last minute (same day!) stay here at Christmas for two nights - got a free upgrade to the suite as it was so quiet which was a lovely touch. Loads of character to the room and hotel in general, really tasty breakfast and catered for Helen’s Gluten Intolerance too!

Will certainly stay again - lovely friendly staff :-)

Stayed for 2 nights prior to Xmas day. Easy online booking process. Quaint inside and very comfortable. Given a complementary upgrade to ‘emily’. Excellent welcome and all necessary information given. Had a cosy intimate dinner in their restaurant which was super. Then coffee in the splendid lounge. Breakfasts plentyful and leisurely. Sadly no time to try the spa, pool or hot tub.the manor is a superb place to stay and is actually far more impressive than expected. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Thank you.

Stayed for one night on business trip in November so didn't really get to sit in the garden which looked nice. My room was adequate, quaint window overlooking the entrance car park, I believe my room was called Anne.
The bathroom was very compact with only a shower and quite a tight fit with the toilet and door...I'm not sure how a large size person would manage.
Nice touch was the lighted make up mirror, which I understand why it's in the room as it's quite dark. Overall it was a comfy room, for a weekend ideal, any longer I'm not so sure. Staff were extremely delightful, nothing was too much trouble. My only criticism is the restaurant menu which was a set menu, 2 courses for £30 ppp. No ala carte. Food was good but not much choice, no pasta or salad options. The setting is very romantic intimate, would highly recommend for special occasion. Lounge area is superb, beautifully decorated, comfy chairs with a log fire. The bar is small and inviting. Overall I would recommend.

Room tip: Easy access, 1st floor, end of corridor room Anne overlooking front entrance, with picturesque window. Cosy room.

Stayed for one night on business. The welcome was great , friendly and took me through all the points of the hotel. Location is good for St Austell, Charlestown where they have filmed Poldark and Eden Project . My room was lovely with comfy bed and complete blackout curtains . Team and coffee in the room plus a fan or heater as well .

Food in the restaurant is excellent although a little expensive compared to similar restaurants . £37 for 3 courses. Service is great and the pool is nice , bear in mind the hot tub is exterior .

Stayed for a couple of nights while on business in the area which included a trip to the Eden project.

We had the Louise suite (£160 / night) which was comfortable, clean, large bed and deep/long Jacuzzi bath. A selection of magazines and local attraction brochures were in the room, along with fresh milk in the fridge.

The room was at the front of the hotel, no traffic noise, dressing gowns provided which was a nice touch. The bathroom was outside the suite down a step and then through another door; an unusual layout but not a negative, I would suggest, perhaps a door stop, as we wanted both doors open during the night...loo dash.

Cooked breakfast was excellent with a good choice, alongside the usual continental fare; evening dinner was
very good with a relaxing bar to settle down into for pre-dinner drinks.

On-site parking at no charge.

Overall a relaxing stay with friendly staff / owners in an independent well palced hotel.
