Earlier this year my husband and I stayed a few nights in the Orchid Room at this B & B. The room was spotless, the breakfast was superb and we were made to feel very welcome. The advantage of this B & B is a separate lounge with tv is made available to guests, so you don't feel you have to spend the evening shut in your room. If we ever travel from New Zealand to this part of the world again we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night and would heartily recommend this to anyone needing to stay in the area, I have stayed in many places over the years, and it is no exaggeration to say this is one of the best B&Bs I have experienced. The cleanliness, decor, food and facilities are all outstanding and are a real credit to Ian and Wayne. An excellent nights sleep was followed by a superb breakfast; I just wish we could have stayed for more than one night. I just wish more places were like this!!

Room Tip: One room is not en suite but is not a problem; you have your own separate bathroom which is vast with a bath and shower. Bathrobes are supplied

Many thanks for taking the time to review us - it's much appreciated. I'm so glad that you felt we more than lived up to our other Trip Advisor Reviews and that you both enjoyed your stay however brief. We look forward to maybe seeing you again for a longer stay in the future when you are not "ranging"!

We received a very warm welcome from Ian on our arrival. Coffee and biscuits to perk us up after our journey was very welcome and a nice touch. Our room was the orchid room and was spotless and very welcoming. Everything you needed was there and I'm sure if we needed anything else it wouldn't of been any trouble. There's a very useful folder in the room with everything you need to know about Eden Rest as well as menus for local restaurants. Breakfast was served in the conservatory and was was excellent, The full English was well presented and made with quality ingredients and there was plenty of coffee to wash it all down. Fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurt were also there on a help yourself basis. As well as your bedroom there is a comfy lounge to relax in with TV and some books to read. The location of Edens Rest is at the end of a cul-de-sac so there is little or no traffic noise to disturb your stay. It's also situated a very short walk to the village of Bugle and it's amenities. Overall this friendly B&B is a credit to it's owners and comes fully recommended.

We got tea and biscuits on our arrival and received a very warm welcome from Ian. They had thought of everything in our room and made us feel very welcome. They recommended us with a few restaurants and the one we chose was delicious! Slept very well as was nice and quiet and the bed was huge! Breakfast was also delicious. Would definitely go back there if we were in that area again.

Room Tip: The Orchid room has an en suit. The Rose room does have it's own bathroom but is not an en-suit.

Our first stay at Edens Rest, we had the Orchid Room which was very comfortable. Ian and Wayne were really welcoming. Skye and Alfie are lovely little dogs and very playful. We will definately go back when we are in the area again. The breakfast was to die for, and plentiful and varied. Nothing was too much trouble Best B and B in the country I would think.

Room Tip: Room was nice and quiet
