had a fantastic weekend stay at the meadows - a lovely small site but with well spaced pitches, we camped by the stream. the breakfast baguettes were delicious and the owners have clearly put a lot of love and effort into making the site relaxed - and dog friendly! also next to a lovely garden nursery with a fantastic range of plants, and walking distance to heligans or kings wood - and a very short drive to the seaside.

Room Tip: if you are in a tent then choose the side next to the stream away from the road as it's a bit qu...

This campsite is one of the few that has got everything right. You can tell that it is run by experienced campers. So many little touches to make this campsite special. It is a very pretty and well thought out spot. The pitches are big and level, we was given a large flat pitch by the washrooms as we were only staying one night, made it easy to just pull up and put the kettle on. The washrooms are the best I've ever been to on a campsite and spotlessly clean. We arrived late but was welcomed by the owners who showed us our pitch or offered us any empty spot we wanted. The location is very good right off of the main road making it easy to locate and putting it in a central position to visit all the attractions in the area. Really good value rates too.
Highly recommended.

The Meadows is not only a beautiful site, perfectly located for coastal walks, seaside pubs and Eden, but the owners Lynn and John provide such a happy and welcome presence on site which really enhances the stay. Breakfast baguettes and pots of tea on the pretty deck by the stream make for a perfect sunny morning (no washing up!!!) and their knowledge of the local area enhanced our trip, we did the coastal walk as recommended by John and went to the lovely village of Mevagissy for the feast and fireworks which was a great surprise and into Fowey as recommended by Lynn.
Thanks to Lyyn and John for creating a fabulous spot, lovingly looked after and pristinely kept. We a definitely coming back

Just got back from a few days stay at the Meadows. The location is great for beaches, bike rides, heligan and the Eden project. The proprietors are really friendly, welcoming and helpful, they have obviously have put a lot of work into the site. The toilets are some of the cleanest I have seen- even in some hotels! Staying at the meadows is a great way to get back to basics with campfires encouraged and even provided if you don't have one.
We will definately be returning and I will be recommending the site to others, we wish the meadows all the luck because they deserve it!
