“Small beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

This beach is shallow for kids but brought a lot of seaweed in due to a strong current. I would recommend a 5min trip to Carlyon which is much bigger or Charlestown with more history.

“Pretty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

Stopped here for a couple of hours for the tranquility it was nice to watch people canoe and kayaking. It's a very pretty little beach, and the views are lovely. Shame about the litter people had left behind, like empty plastic bottles and containers. I even picked up some fishing line with a hook on the end and put it in the bin. My grandchildren would love it here.

“Quiet and relaxing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

Nice quiet beach, surrounded 3/4 by beautiful cliffs, there is a slight steep hill/boat ramp that can take your breath if your not used to a little exercise.
Be careful of the tide you can get carried away by the tranquil atmosphere and before you know it it's upon you.
The beach is clean it's full of slate and pebbles seems to be a great spot for those into canoeing/ kayaking etc as it's good access.
Enjoyed my time here was very relaxing.

“Spacious sandy beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2013

Wide expanse of sand but still rocks and rock pools on either side and a large freshwater stream running to the sea on one side. Short walk from the village car park which is handy for the pub.
