Wow, what a place. The gardens are incredible. So much to see. The jungle area is amazing. You can certainly spend an entire day here. Lots of places to sit and relax.

Lovely to see in the different seasons. 10 Tamworth piglets were born just 18 hours before our visit and they brought one out to show us. There is so much to see you can make a whole day of it. Walled vegetable garden was amazing as were the flower gardens and walks.

Here you get a mixture of everything.

Stunning views, gardens and even a jungle.

We took the perimeter walk and then walked through the inner parts. In total we walked over 5 miles.

The only disappointing part was the tea room at the Stewards House. Over priced for food and drinks no better than a local cafe.

However, the gardens are fantastic.

Visited here on recommendation of a friend who had been here 7 years ago and some of it was still unfinished
It appears now to be fully restored and personally I would have liked them to leave an area as they had found or have more photos around showing what it was like when they first redound it
The vegetable gardens are enviable and beautifully set out lots of seed saving etc wonderful
The wildflower meadow is lovely as is the jungle
There is lots of lovely walking and the ups and downs to the jungle are not so bad so don't let that stop you visiting there
Lots of children around having a lovely time
We had lovely weather on the day and enjoyed ourselves
I do think the entrance price was expensive £12

Have visited Heligan quite a few times. Every time is different, as it changes with the seasons. Even when busy it still retains it's tranquility. Wear sensible shoes, take a mac/brolly and leave plenty of time to explore the different areas. Good selection of eats in the main cafe and keep-you-going snacks & drinks at the Steward's House. One of the best attractions in Cornwall, if. It the country.
