A well appointed inn with motivated staff anxious to make one's stay enjoyable. Only complaint was that a steak was tough, undercooked and although a complaint was made via the waitress to the chef there was neither reaction or response.

Recently stayed at the hotel for a 4 day business trip. Being a single traveller, sometimes makes it awkward at dinner time...but the staff here were always inviting and accommodating to my needs. The food at the adjoining Pub was great and filling. One day I wanted to venture out and the manager, Claire, researched a few of the restaurants and eveb printed out the menu so I could decide which place to eat on a visit to Foye. I have always found Premier Inn to offer clean and spacious rooms and mostly importantly staff who are focused on great customer service.Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Keep up the great work!!!

Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms looked slightly 'tired'. We found the lighting dull and the use of torch like bedside lights uninviting. We would have liked to go green and reuse our towels but now with the absence of proper towel rails they stayed damp and had to be changed daily anyway. The bathroom seemed more like an airport washroom with huge loo paper dispensers dispensing a sheet at a time and soap dispensers for basin and shower, the later put in such an awkward place you had to dive under the shower to reach it. These are rated as budget hotels but to be honest I think they a becoming overpriced for what you get. The only reason we will use them again is because of the cancellation policy - on the day before 1pm and their wonderfully comfortable beds!

Came here to stay prior the Eden Project marathon. Excellent location for the coast and Eden Project. Service was excellent with nice friendly staff. Rooms spacious and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was held in the pub adjacent with a very good variety of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast and crumpets and of course the traditional cooked breakfast. Would definately recommend it. Would definately come again. Thanks for a great stay

It's a little more than what you would pay for in a B&B (B&B is around £30/night with B'fast while Premier Inn is around £40 without breakfast), but if your not fussed about breakfast and want something a little nicer that a B&B, than it is good value for money.

The only problem for us was the room was a little too hot. I know its September but no need to make the rooms so warm.

I have stayed at a number of Premiere Inns around the country, usually for business but the Premiere Inn In St Austell is by far the friendliest, most comfortable and provides excellent value for money. The staff are by far the best asset at the St Austell Premiere Inn, they are professional, friendly, helpful and always have a smile which after a long journey is always refreshing. I have stayed in other, more expensive, local establishments when the Premiere Inn has been full, and even when some of them purport to be spas or manors, the customer service has never matched that of the St Austell Premiere Inn.
