One of the best Premier Inns I have ever stayed in. The room was much the same as any other PI. This room had a lovely view of St.Austell bay. Just spectacular. One of the major things I loved about this room was the size of the TV!!! it was a 40inch (I think), but not only that, they had actually put the HDMI connectors etc in a panel underneath the tv so it was easy access to plug in laptops etc. This was one PI which really paid attention to detail.
The restaurant next to the hotel was just wonderful. Served lovely local ales as well as all the main stream brands.

Plenty of car parking and so very quiet. This PI is somewhere I will be staying again and again given the chance.

Most Premier Inns are to a similar standard and this one doesn't disappoint. Located outside the main town, first impressions aren't the best - although the wall render has been recently repainted, the windows and sills are in desperate need of a paint. Inside though, the refurbishment is further along and almost everything looks tidy and fresh. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, although the towels were fairly worn and it takes a long time for the hot water to come through for the bath / shower (and the pressure isn't great). An electric fan was available to help keep the room cool which was a welcome extra. A minor gripe - only two teabags!. The staff as usual were very friendly and the receptionist in particular was really helpful and made us feel very welcome, with recommendations for places to visit, taxi bookings and going that step further than many do.

There was some road noise from the main dual carriageway alongside the hotel but for us this was compensated by the views over the town and out to sea. As with many other Premier Inns, there is no lift on site but rooms on the ground floor are available and there is level access from the large car park to the hotel. The entrance to the separate restaurant for dinner and breakfast is about 200 yards away so you'll need an umbrella if it's raining! Staff in the restaurant are friendly and service was fairly prompt.

Room Tip: For a quieter room, avoid rooms overlooking the dual carriageway

Clean, comfortable and a good nights sleep, it's what you expect in any Premier Inn now and here is no exception. The only slight drawback is that it is quite far away from the town centre, so a taxi is a must if you are planning a trip out.

Very friendly staff, but could improve with more business like training.
Plenty of staff but service in the restaurant was slow. I had to ask if my meal was ready, and could tell it had been left in a hot cupboard and dried out.
