Having not stayed in a premier in for approx. 12 months, I found myself snookered into booking a family room for 2 nights at this one. The carpets were quite tatty/grubby, shower pressure was very poor as I had to dance around to intercept the occassional rain drop, and jack hammers starting on the site next door at 7:40 am Saturday morning were the main irritations. Not sure PI represent the same value for money that they did e.g 3-4 years ago - this one wasn't cheap by any means! I am used to finding much better accommodation for much less money but guess I lucked out this time due to time of year. Also, paying for WiFi is a bit of a joke these days

Very comfortable overnight stay en route to our holiday destination. Had the excellent value meal deal - one price for breakfast and dinner. This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel and I would thoroughly recommend it for any short stay.

A fairly new PI situated just outside St Austell which we stayed at for a couple of nights this week. The staff were all friendly, the rooms were very clean and airy, even in the hot weather. and there is free and ample parking. It is an ideal location to visit local attractions and beaches and hidden coves. St Austell is ok, but has little charm, better to go to the prettier places by the coast.

Getting back to the PI, well worth staying at, good value for money.

If the lady on reception does see this, congratulations on your wedding today

Room Tip: Our room was first floor at the back of the building and was very quiet

Stayed for one night only 21.7.14. Anyone who has travelled by road recently will know what a nightmare the motorway system is at the moment. We travelled from South Yorkshire and barely achieved the 50 mile an hour speed limit at any point of the journey - as a consequence, we arrived in St Austell much later than we expected. We used a sat nav to get us to the Premier inn as the area was unfamiliar to us. It took us 45mins to gain access to the hotel because of road closures due to tarmac laying so by the time we arrived we were not in the best humour! Understandably, the restaurant had closed (it was 10pm) but the Manager, Simon, organised for us to be served food in the bar - I cannot tell you how much we appreciated this after our dreadful journey. Suitably fed and watered we checked in and were delighted by the very friendly and efficient staff on the reception desk. Our room (51) was quiet and clean and, a bonus, it had a fan - most welcome. The bed was comfortable and we slept SO well. Thank you Premier Staff!

Lovely clean rooms with big comfy beds, just as you would effect with the Premier Inn chain. We arrived on Valentine's Day, unfortunately there was a storm and the staff were more than helpful on finding us a new room which didn't allow us to here the wind! Would defiantly go again!

We stayed for three nights in this Premier Inn. It did not disappoint. This is an excellent hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The quality of the bedlinen, pillows and towels are great. The staff were very efficient and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had the continental breakfast which was enjoyable. It is in an excellent location for visiting the Eden Project and for visiting picturesque villages such as Megavissey, Charlestown and Fowey. We will definitely stay at a Premier Inn again.

spent one night at this hotel as close to Eden Project. Very nice welcome - rooms very clean and everything you seem to expect for a premier inn. Pub (Table Table) very good for a meal and breakfast was very good. Would use again
