Have just returned after a two day stay at Tregwormond Grange and wanted to let you know how good it was. We had a large double with en-suite. There are tea making facilities and LCD TV to make the room all the more comfortable. Janet was very welcoming and made you feel at home. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty to choose from. The house is set in a lovely area and is ideal for trips out to places like Port Isaac, Rock, Padstowe and many others. Would definitely be happy to come back in the future. Thank you Janet.

Set just away from their working farm, this is a warm, clean and friendly place to stay. The owner was extremely friendly, offering local advice on where to eat and go. The double ensuite was spacious, clean with tea and coffee facilities, an LCD tv and a selection of dvds to play. There was a wide choice for breakfast, the full English was lovely. Would not hesitate to recommend. Only wish we had longer.

Wow, what a superb find - a gracious B&B where the owner of the establishment takes great efforts to ensure your stay is everything you had hoped.
This beautiful home is only 4 years old, has large rooms and a homely feel, a guests lounge which is furnished with love and attention to detail as well as a patio for use by the guests - although you certainly don't feel like a guest in this home, more like a long lost friend. Being surrounded by fields the evenings pass in beautiful solitude and the only sound that can be heard is of the birds.
Being only 2.5 miles from Rock(with its ferry to Padstow), a 15 min drive to Padstow, 9 miles to Port Issac, 45 mins to St Austel or Newquay, 15 miles to Tintagel makes this place a VERY convenient location from which to base yourself.
Enjoy the solitude and Cornish hospitality.

The place is out in nowhere (which is brilliant) with almost endless views of the magnificent cornish countryside. As has already been said, its a working farm with almost 400 acres of farming land all around the building and a huge workshop (for tractors, machinery and other farming equipment) just beside it.
The rooms are well sized and the entire interior is spotlessly clean and you'll think twice before unpacking your baggage to scatter clothes all around.

Although its a fairly new construction, the coziness will immediately make you feel that it has been there for ages.

There was a small television in our room with some DVD's - which we couldn't watch as we were busy staring out of the windows or strolling along the country paths.
There is a nice village pub just down the road - The Malsters Arms and more in the nearby town of Wadebridge.

The breakfast was fresh, warm and cooked as per wishes.
Janet, who takes care of the building is very hospitable and approachable. And Paul who takes care of the farms is the typical cornish country boy - gearing up for the upcoming harvest season.

All in all, a memorable experience and a lovely set of people. Highly recommended if you need to be with yourself in peace or for a romantic country break.

My wife and i wanted to return to North Cornwall over the bank holiday weekend in August. We left it to the last minute, and trying to find any accomadation was proving difficult. Searching through the visit cornwall web site I came across Tregwormond Grange in St Minver. What excited me was that it was indicating rooms available over the weekend. I gave the B&B a call and found Janet most helpful, confirming she had a double room avaialble, and there was no need to send a deposit just pay upon arrival. Well, when we arrived we found a newly built farmhouse on a working farm, just outside Wadebridge with the most amazing views over the countryside. Janet greeted us and showed us round the property. It looked and was impressive. Our room (number 1) had fantastic views on two sides of the cornish countryside. The room was huge with a seperate large en-suite. The furniture was elegant and very well presented. The room had a tv with dvd and a selection of dvd's to watch, along with tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast in the morning was excellent very well cooked and just enough to keep you going until the 'pasty' at lunchtime. In summary all I would say, if you need a quality B&B in north cornwall near padstow, rock etc, stay here and you will not be disappointed.
