My son and his family stayed for a 3 night break, in order to meet up with the rest of the family, and had a wonderful time. A comfortable room with an amazing sea view. Sheila was so welcoming and helpful. Couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you so much Sheila.

We had a lovely stay at Penmenner House for a weekend break. The house is lovely, with a beautiful garden, stunning views and a really warm atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable too and we had a lovely fresh breakfast to start off each day.

We found it was an excellent location too, with lots of beautiful coastal walks and only a few minutes away from the most southerly point, where we loved visiting the lighthouse and café. We even spotted seals! It was also only a short walk from the little village too, where we obviously had to try out the local fudge and the Cornish pasty shop! Sheila also recommended a visit to Kynance Cove and we're glad we went, as it was a beautiful place and a great day out.

We had an amazing time and would definitely go back to Penmenner House! Thank you Sheila!

We really enjoyed our stay at this welcoming B&B. Sheila really knows how to look after her guests and make them feel welcome. The house has a real personality. There is a huge light and sunny guest lounge and breakfast room. The full English breakfast is very "full" with also a great choice of cereals and a wonderful fruit salad. We stayed in the Atlantic Room with a lovely sea view. The room was comfortable and pleasantly decorated with lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom. A great place to stay for exploring the Lizard peninsula!

Room Tip: The Lighthouse suite has a dual aspect sea views but the Atlantic Room also has a good sea view

The location of Penmenner House is perfect its quiet with a delightful garden and spacious guest lounge .We had the Lighthouse suite for ourselves and our son (age 13) the room was spacious and comfy , the views from the windows are Worth 5 stars alone, even from the bathroom ...not to mention the superb breakfast that many have already commented on Thank you Sheila . The house is at the end of Penmenner Road leading on to footpaths to the sea which is only a few hundred yards away, especially welcome as our dog Pip came on the 2 day trip with us
The centre of Lizard village is only a short stroll, (5 mins ) from the house , with plenty of choice fof lunch and dinner , our choice ( for both nights )was a bistro style establishment called
"Coast" great food with cheery staff and atmosphere .
Just to add to what was a great sunny weekend (sadly not if you were spending the weekend at Glastonbury Festival ) we saw a seal, followed by basking shark Followed by 4 Choughs in flight , couldn't believe our luck!.
The tiny fishing village of Cadgwith only 4 miles away would be shameful to miss out on , what a gem , lost in time....

Room Tip: I dont know about the other rooms but id definitely choose the Lighthouse suite again .

Sheila was very caring and friendly. She knew we had made a long journey to the lizard and welcomed us with a pot of tea and cakes. Breakfast was incredible - there was toast, traditional English breakfast (even a vegetarian option), and a fruit salad as a starter. I've never eaten such a huge fruit salad before, and the smoked salmon was the best I've ever tasted! :)

The house was very exquisitely decorated, and there were even books we could borrow. I spent half a day reading in the lounge instead of heading out. The bedroom was very lovely and there was sufficient storage space. The bathroom was very clean and towels were provided, along with bath necessities like shampoo, shower gel, body soap, and lotion. A hair dryer (the cutest hair dryer I've ever seen) was also provided in one of the bed side tables.

Penmenner house was located right at the end of Penmenner road, and right outside it is a postbox (how convenient!) and a public footpath/public bridleway. So it was easier to get to the coastal area from there. Although it was located about three mins away from town, we only went into town for a bit but spent more time at the coastal area instead.

All in all, it was such a fantastic place. Definitely try contacting Sheila if you're heading to the Lizard Point. You won't regret making the journey there.
