This inn is situated on a privileged location overseeing the lighthouse and the ocean. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with all sort of amenities, including some that you would not normally expect, such as automatically reclining beds.

The place is run by Carla and John. Their "no pressure" attitude makes for a very relaxed environment. They will go out of their way to make you feel at home and will research and dial as necessary to make your stay with them fun and memorable.

I would not hesitate to stay with them again.

We could not fault this delightful and stylish B&B and the warm welcome we received from John and Carla. Our room (Atlantic) was lovely and spacious with great shower and everything was so beautifully furnished with interesting art and real attention to detail. They really have gone to a lot of trouble to provide something that is really quite different. Breakfasts were perfect - John happy to rustle up whatever we wanted. We had wonderful weather and the coastline is spectacular along this stretch of the SW coastal path.....we have come around from Minehead. and this certainly has to be one of the best B&B we have stayed in so far. The sun room in the garden was wonderful - what a view and delicious tea and scones. What more could you want.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the delightful Bay House. Carla and John were perfect hosts, not at all intrusive but always there to assist and nothing was too much bother for them. The breakfasts were delicious. We stayed in the Atlantic Room, the view from the bay window was superb, straight from a holiday brochure. Every detail was thought of for your comfort, including the fridge on the landing, for our gin and tonics, which were the perfect accompaniment for sitting in the bay window, watching the world go by. We would definitely put it on our list for a place to return to. Thank you Carla and John

We had two wonderful and pleasant nights at Bay House, Lizard. Carla and John are gentle hosts und offer impeccable B&B in a magnificant accomodation. The straight view from our room to the cliffs was fantastic. No restrictions to me mentioned. Thank you, Carla and John.

The warm welcome and generous hospitality offered by Carla Caslin and her husband, John, was the beginning of one the most enjoyable experiences we have had in a month long holiday from Australia. Our room with its lovely and large en-suite bathroom offered every conceivable comfort, not to mention luxury, together with a truly beautiful outlook. We appreciated being able to return to the room at any time, an arrangement not always available in B & B's in our experience. John's gourmet breakfast was of the kind that sustained one through the day and his friendliness and Carla's made a great deal of difference to our enjoyment. We cannot recommend this property and its owners too highly.

Room Tip: The Atlantic room is probably the best available, being the biggest and best equipped.

Bay House, the views of the Atlantic and being on the most southern tip of the UK provide a perfect 'away from it' all setting. The enthusiasm and kindness from the experienced hosts Carla and John give a home from home experience. The views from the Atlantic Room of the Lizard Lighthouse are seconded by the beautiful interior design and art work in the house and the great attention to detail to make even a short stay perfect.

When we arrived we were provided with tea and scones, jam and cream on the terrace, a real sun trap even in October. Carla kindly phoned and booked local restaurants for us. John shared his local knowledge as we enjoyed his excellent breakfast. We were provided with a map for a walk to the local village of Cragwith as we meandered along the South West Coastal path which passes the gate of Bay House garden.
Nothing disappointed and everything was better than we had hoped for, the reality is even better than the photographs.

Room Tip: The view from the Atlantic Room is superb. The lighthouse light is excluded by very efficient black...

The first second we arrived at the Bay House, John and Carla let us feel welcome and at home in their beautiful place. The Atlantic Room is wonderful with a simply spectacular view over Housel Bay, the famous Lighthouse on the right side. John's breakfast was excellent and their enthusiasm concerning local tips, in-room DVD's etc. are unbeatable. A very fun and adorable couple! We are already planning for the next stay....
