We had a lovely day at Kynance Cove. Very clean beach and good toilet facilities. Beautiful surroundings. Good rock pooling, we found shrimps, crabs and small fish. We didn't try the cafe.

The National Trust car park charges for non members but otherwise this attraction is free. Chance for a long or short walk around the cliffs at the Lizard, with stunning views in three directions. A real peaceful spot especially during the week.

We visited the Lizard area a few years ago, the views were brilliant. It was then a windy day and watching the waves smash up against the rocks and cliffs was amazing.
We revisited the Lizard again this year and was happy to see that it hadn't changed. The walks are good around the area and well sign posted. The weather was calmer this year, but looking out towards the horizon was brilliant.
We then went onto Kynance Cove, not knowing what to expect, what a quite and peaceful place, not commercialised at all, just a café. Only a single track road to get there, but all that is forgotten on arrival. A lovely quite place to visit.

Enjoyed short visit to this pretty part of the South-West coastal path, where we parked for free in the NT car park, walking down to the old and now disused lifeboat station; coffee in the cafe above with a scone was good value; lady at the Wildlife Trust observation was knowledgeable and very well-informed on local wildlife matters.
