Kynance Cove is simply stunning. We walked from The Lizard, about 30 minutes walk, there are cafes at both locations. You could park at the National Trust car park, which is about 15 minutes walk. There are two routes from the car park. To avoid the rocky beach, look out for the much easier pathway which will take you via the toilets and to the excellent Kynance Cove Beach Cafe. The food is excellent. There are outside benches where you can eat or drink. If you've ever seen the 1995 film "Blue Juice", starring Catherine Zeta Jones, John Pertwee and Ewen McGregor, I'm told that the indoor cafe scenes were filmed here. (The outside cafe shots were filmed in Mousehole). We had lunch at Kynance Cove, we shared a Cornish Pasty and Cornish Cream Tea. Our food was amazing, and considering how busy it was, we received our food much quicker that expected. The views here are stunning!

Kynance Cove is a beautiful place to visit - either to walk or to swim. It is long walk down to the beach - but that tends to deter those with whom one one rather not share a beach.

There are many lovely places to visit on the Lizard. We took a walk along to Kynance Cove and it was stunning. I wish we had arrived in the afternoon so we could have had a swim but it was evening and the tide was in. We particularly liked Coverack beach as well. The Lizard being a small peninsula is easy to explore, however beware of some extremely narrow lanes - avoid if you can. There are many lovely walks and this area is well worth a visit.

I have travelled but kynance cove is the most amazing beach, as kids we loved the waves and rock pools. I have never been to a better beach in the world. Well worth a visit with the kids they will love the waves when the tide is coming in especially on the body boards, there is a rock pool where the younger kids play and you can watch them. There is some thing for everyone at this amazing location. Make sure to try the cornish pasty from the cafe above. This beach is amazing.

Lizard has a few cafes, gift shops and a delightful Pub, I didn't get to see Kynance Cove as it is not a Dog Friendly beach, however we did go down to Lizard Point and if the weather is on your side this is a lovely hours walk or stroll.

Definitely recommend Lizard and Lizard Point to anyone visiting West Cornwall
