“Definitely worth seeing”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

The Lizard and Cove are really something you should see. I am so glad we stayed at this end of Cornwall for 3 days. Cove not dog friendly bt it was well worthing the climb part the way down to see. Dog friendly beach which we found out a bit too late is Coverack Cove.

“Stunning and worth a visit even with limited mobility”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

We visited with my elderly mother who is not so great on her feet. We still had a lovely visit to Kynance Cove - walked along the cliff tops, which is fairly easy terrain, to some stunning views over the cove. If you've got your boots on and love a good walk, I think this place on a sunny day would be hard to beat

“One of the most stunning coastal locations in Cornwall!”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

Kynance Cove is simply stunning. We walked from The Lizard, about 30 minutes walk, there are cafes at both locations. You could park at the National Trust car park, which is about 15 minutes walk. There are two routes from the car park. To avoid the rocky beach, look out for the much easier pathway which will take you via the toilets and to the excellent Kynance Cove Beach Cafe. The food is excellent. There are outside benches where you can eat or drink. If you've ever seen the 1995 film "Blue Juice", starring Catherine Zeta Jones, John Pertwee and Ewen McGregor, I'm told that the indoor cafe scenes were filmed here. (The outside cafe shots were filmed in Mousehole). We had lunch at Kynance Cove, we shared a Cornish Pasty and Cornish Cream Tea. Our food was amazing, and considering how busy it was, we received our food much quicker that expected. The views here are stunning!

“One of the few remaining ideal beaches”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Kynance Cove is a beautiful place to visit - either to walk or to swim. It is long walk down to the beach - but that tends to deter those with whom one one rather not share a beach.

“Beautiful scenery”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

There are many lovely places to visit on the Lizard. We took a walk along to Kynance Cove and it was stunning. I wish we had arrived in the afternoon so we could have had a swim but it was evening and the tide was in. We particularly liked Coverack beach as well. The Lizard being a small peninsula is easy to explore, however beware of some extremely narrow lanes - avoid if you can. There are many lovely walks and this area is well worth a visit.
