“What a location!”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

We stayed here for a couple of nights before meeting up with a group of friends to do a week's walking along the next section of the SW coastal footpath. We weren't lucky with the weather; the Lizard was shrouded in mist and fog so we were not able to fully appreciate the splendid views at any point in our stay! Nevertheless, we enjoyed having our own sun room (if there had have been sun it would have been even better!) to sit in rather than be confined to the bedroom. The facilities were perfect for us. Jane and John were most interesting hosts and made us very welcome. As there is only the one guest room we were the only guests. The breakfasts (not cooked) were absolutely delicious - mostly homemade. The muesli was fantastic and the fresh fruit selection superb.
The location is simply amazing. We walked to the Lizard Point and enjoyed an early evening meal at the Polpeor cafe overlooking the sea - excellent.

How wonderful to have our own space - sitting room with picture windows looking out to sea, a lovely bedroom and good bathroom with separate loo - great! Jane very kindly left real (not UHT) milk in the fridge so that we could have a decent cup of tea and home-made biscuits. The breakfast is very generous and healthy. We absolutely loved being able to walk from our residence straight along the cliffs to Kynance Cove.

Room Tip: Dinner at the Penpeol cafe at the Lizard Point - magical - we watched seals playing at the foot of t...

Unlike most B&B, here you have a separate entry and and a little sitting room with stunning ocean views. So close to the coast you cannot allow yourself to miss the opportunity to spend hours walking along the cliffs - followed but a pint of Cornish cider in the local pub.
The hosts are very friendly and their dogs make you feel very welcome indeed!

Lovely room, spectacular views, delightful hosts and great food - what more could you want from a B&B? We stayed with our 10 year old daughter for 2 nights and wanted to stay for a week. She had her own loft room and was in heaven. Jane and John have a couple of big dogs, but they are friendly and well behaved. We enjoyed 2 delicious dinners and the breakfasts were a welcome break from sausages, bacon and eggs - lovely home made bread, local jams, we even had rhubarb from the garden!
