We discovered Sue's about 8 years ago and have visited every year since. Sue is a genuine lovely lady who has always charged the bare minimum and produced superb cream teas on her working farm. Sure the garden furniture is basic but who cares when the quality of the goods is this excellent? So sad to find out when we visited recently that Sue is planning on retiring in mid=September! So grab those scones whilst you can folks and if you haven't visited- your time is running out - you won't be disappointed, for what is best cream tea in cornwall!

Sue is a great hostess, very pleasant and welcoming. The scones were freshly made that day and there was lashings of cream and jam, delicious.
I don't mind that it is next to a cow shed, nothing like country air.
Don't miss this little gem of a place! Sue - invest in an A board so we know where you are!

Superb service in a charming garden. Served brilliantly by Sue (or a helper). Scones always at great quality, as is the drinks. Highly recommend.

We went here after reading all the amazing reviews and I think we must have been to a different place. This was in a garden next to cow sheds. The tables were covered in plastic tablecloths . This scones were not cooked properly they were doughy. If you want an amazing cream tea go down the road to Polpeor Cafe, and you get a view of the sea and fresh air to breathe not cow muck.

This was probably the most bizarre place I have ever eaten and wish I hadn't have bothered. The place is no more than a glorified shed which is not really fit for serving food. It was freezing so the owner plugged in a electric fire and placed it next to us.The menus and tablecloths were grubby and have seen better days and words cannot describe the decor (wish id taken a photo) We all went for scones and they were very poor. We had three cream teas while in Cornwall and these nowhere near the standard of the others we tried. Please avoid if you want decent quality and be suspicious of the very similarly worded rave reviews!!
