This is a campsite with a difference. Set in a sloping terraced site overlooking the bays surrounding The Lizard, Cornwall and within a mile or so of the renowned Kynance Cove, this site offers an idyllic setting. However the hippy feel seems a little dated now and the sanitation facilities, by anybody's standards are in need of some attention. The charges for motorhomes are high. However for the camper the glorious setting might outweigh these grumbles and watching the sun set in a clear evening sky is magical.

Excellent, really quirky little campsite with wonderful views. Perfect if you like things a bit hippy - avoid if you prefer caravan club type things! There was live music in the firepit twice the weekend we stayed which really added to the vibe and was fun. The well-stocked shop is open most of the day and well into the evening. The local shops and restaurants are just a short stroll away in Lizard - lots of chances to sample the excellent icecream! Chickens and ducks roam the site freely and provide hours of entertainment - but watch your food!

We can't wait to come back and have rebooked for later this month.

A beautiful campsite in an epic location. Different to the normal campsite feel with it's quirky feel and environment. Excellent location with coast walks minutes from the site. Each pitch has it's own separate bit, it's gorgeous.

We first spent 2 nights in Henry's Campsite around 4 years ago and always knew we would go back. We loved it the first time, each pitch is landscaped and everyone different from another and we loved the fact they had animals including pigs! We went back for 6 nights in September 2013 and it has only got better, bigger and far more animals!! Yes you have to pay 20p for 2 minutes in a shower, unisex toilets and 50p to get things charged but it is all worth It especially the fire grates with wood when it gets cold. The site is very well maintained, a great little shop, 3 pubs within a 5 minute walk and all serve good food but more importantly you are seconds from the coastal path. The walks around Lizard are beautiful and all of this on your doorstep. The animals just add to the quirky character of Henrys, it is definitely worth a visit!!!

We found Henry's by chance. Perhaps the sign for it is small for a reason! To keep it a secret? We booked 2 nights and wish we'd found it earlier. (and later - as there is a mini "Glastonbury" style festival on the 20th Sept looks like it could be amazing). The site is compact with sections walled off. Each spot has a name - ours was Little Scilly, next to us was Asparagus. It gave a feeling of quiet seclusion. We were in a campervan and there was plenty of space and hook up. We had to shoo away the chickens to park in our slot! The chickens and ducks wander around freely - good for getting rid of your scraps! The facilities are adequate and clean. We were there late in season so there wasnt a queue - but I can imagine high summer it may be different. A must is the jug of Old Rosie Cider you can buy from the shop. Hic. The surrounding are tranquil and pretty. You could be anywhere in the world. A definate chill out place tucked away. The only noise to disturb was the cockerals early morning call.

The local shops are minutes away for everything you need. We will definately camp there again. An absolute treat.

We had planned a few days away to relax after the school holidays. However we were pitched beside young families who had very young children who screamed most of our down time and woke us each morning at 6pm. Despite the early wakenings we managed to walk two wonderful days on the South west coast path. It was very lovely and made up for the lack of rest. Although I have empathy with young families trying to also have a holiday I do find that others are treated unfairly. This place should welcome dogs more than young children and they would certainly get me back as I believe my dogs were better behaved. It would be good if the campsite had a seperate area for couples and thier dogs as this would make all feel more welcome. We did overall enjoy the break and the fantastic seafood so would return once we bring our own neighbours,
