“Greystones”
Reviewed 23 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Greystones is clean, tidy and has everything anyone would need for a holiday. The owners are pleasant and helpful. It's a great place to stay if you want to travel around the liazard as it is not too far to travel to any of the coastal towns. The weather was not so great but I think we were just unlucky with that but we did enjoy our stay there despite the weather.

“A fabulous Cornish retreat”
Reviewed 15 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Located on the Lizard peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty, this delightful holiday chalet is situated perfectly for a quiet retreat, which was my reason for choosing it. Near by (5-15 mins drive) are the beautiful beaches of Kynance Cove, Kennack Sands, Poldhu, Gunwalloe, Mullion and Cadgwith. I know the area having visited as a child and it was wonderful to be back. The chalet is closest to Kynance, and a perfect location to explore the Lizard, as well as being within easy distance of Penzance and Helston. The chalet was very clean, well thought out and fully equipped, with lots of little touches that made it feel like home from home. The site is very quiet and peaceful, off the main road and with parking right outside the chalet. I appreciated the communication from my hosts, who were extremely flexible and accommodating, and helpful throughout. I thoroughly recommend this charming place to stay to anyone who needs a quiet, relaxing and peaceful retreat in the natural beauty of the wild Cornish landscape.

“A perfect hideaway”

Such a lovely hideaway. So cosy and welcoming, which to be honest is needed when you've been out walking along the coast. It had everything we needed, from a small library of dvds, books, guides, to a bottle opener! The place was spotless clean and the beds very comfortable. We stayed in the single beds, but there is a double sofa bed which we pulled out and watch a movie on one evening and it was very comfortable. The shower was decent and again everything very clean. As for the location, well it couldn't be better! We love walking so we really enjoyed all the walks around us. The beaches are gorgeous, but it was a little chilly for us. Mullion and the lizard point are really close and the bus service is excellent so we had a cheeky drink or two!! It took us about 30 minutes to get to penzance and about the same to st ives. We thought it was the perfect place for peace and quiet and handy location to visit lots of places in cornwall.
