Stayed for a couple of nights at this B&B my room had excellent views over the River Tamar and the Navy Yard. This place is in the town of Torpoint and is handy for the Pubs and places to eat. I used this place as a base to see Plymouth and some parts of Cornwall away from the main tourist areas.

Plymouth is a short ferry trip from here and you can use the bus as well. Also there are a couple of nice old houses to visit a short distance of the town. There are some nice sandy beaches about 4 miles away (but it was too cold to spend to much time on these) and in the summer these seem ideal for families.

The Rooms at this place were large and fresh and bright. The beds were comfortable and I had a good nights sleep there. The breakfast was good and filled me up for most of the day. There was a choice of cereals but I had the full english (i was on Holiday).

The other thing I would like to mention is this place had a family for the Passing out Parade in HMS Raleigh and this place is ideal for for them with out having to cross the ferry like their friends had.

A good place to stay friendly owners and helpful (not bad chefs either) Handy for Plymouth and East Cornwall plenty to see. Enjoyed it a lot thanks mein Hosts
