“a new boat for now”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

went on the ferry both ways £1.30 each way but a bargain and always good to get across the river, we had a different boat as the other one is having repairs, but a smooth crossing both ways and a must to do if in the area

“Eases parking restrictions at Mount Edgecombe”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

This is a great way to get over from Plymouth to the Mount Edgecombe estate. The Orangery is well worth a visit where lovely food is served. There is also a good pub not far from the landing place. NB...We visited here 2 or 3 years ago, not when I have indicated.

“Enjoy the ride!”
Reviewed 20 December 2013

Difficult to review a ferry that is only designed to get you from a to b in 10 minutes, but it is an interesting ride. We ogled at the Princess Yachts moored on the river as we went past. I reckon each was worth more than 5 times the cost of our house, but hey, you can dream. The Royal William Yard looks magnificent too.
We ended up at Mount Edgecumbe fir a lovely walk, which was the point of the journey. I would definitely recommend this as the best way to travel there.

“Plymouth to Cornwall”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

I'm local to Plymouth. The Cremyll Ferry is our easy access gateway to Cornwall. I was really surprised to see it only had a small number of reviews. If you are visiting this area then you really should take the ferry. How else can you enjoy Mount Edgecombe and the walk to Kingsand and Cawsand. This is the only way to arrive for a really lovely day out. There's an excellent pub on the Cornwall side and Elvera's cafe on the Plymouth side will give you a great starting breakfast. Foot Passengers and bikes only.
