Really enjoyed wandering around the gardens here. Alot of effort has been put in to keep it neat and tidy and to keep the alice in wonderland theme going. The house itself is amazing and full of history and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable which makes for a pleasant trip. Would go again.

“Amazing gardens, great house”
Reviewed 30 April 2014 via mobile

The place is really worth the visit. The gardens are fabulous to say the least and the house itself was an amazing insight in the life of the family who owns it. The current landlords still live there. There are times and days for the visits of the house so I guess you need to get there at the opening to get the choice in the time slots. Really well set up and kept by the national trust. There is a tea room we didn't explore. If you are passing through, do stop.

“Alice Fans”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

We went to Antony whilst on holiday in Padstow. My daughter is an "alice" fan and wanted to visit for a long time.Weren't disappointed and found the whole experience delightful.Lovely volunteers chatted to my friend and I as we 're both National Trust volunteers.I also love Daphne du Maurier and I was shown a lovely portrait of Rachel, the inspiration for one of her novels.Finished our visit with tea and cake.Worth the long journey and would come back to explore the gardens.

“A friendly welcome”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Visited Antony during a Devon holiday. Found the staff and volunteers very welcoming and approachable. The gardens were lovely and the house had that "lived-in" feel. A very pleasant and happy visit.
