My room at this motel and was quite spacious. It contained a kitchenette with microwave, plates cutlery etc. Bathroom was very tiny. The room was immaculately clean. The downside at this location is there is no restaurant or bar on site. There is also quite a bit of road noise as this is one of the main outlets from Ballina to Lennox Heads and Byron. You definitely need a car if staying here unless you are a keen walker. As these rooms are some of the better value rooms in town for the price I would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you don't like road noise as for a room nearest the pool.

Really clean and well appointed rooms in a nice location just outside of the Main Street of town. Very close to river and parks and only about 5 mins drive to Shelly Beach. Would definitely stay here if ever passing through this region again. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in February on our trip down the gold coast. The apartment was clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed. There was some early morning traffic noise as we were in a room on the road side. The outside area had a small garden and pool which was welcome in the heat. The only criticism was the chairs and sun loungers by the pool were dirty and covered in bird droppings, which looked liked they had been there days. This could easily be rectified, but all in all a good place to stay.

Nice little motel. Room was very clean and spacious, as was bathroom. Lots of large windows to create a breeze through the room as the airconditioner was letting out a strange smell. Kitchenette saved money instead of buying meals. Downfall was that we booked a double room on the phone and when we arrived we were told we only had a single room which we had to put up with.

We booked a family room at half an hour's notice on the way back from the Sunshine Coast with our 3 children. It exceeded our expectations, even after reading the glowing reviews on Tripadvisor. The room was very tastefully furnished with a double bed, 2 singles, and a rollaway. The small kitchenette with toaster, microwave, and crockery/ cutlery allowed us to self-cater for breakfast and prepare packed lunches. Every base was covered: pool towels for the delightful (if somewhat cool) pool, plentiful toiletries, and a modern, elegant bathroom. Wooden blinds darkened the room so effectively that we all slept in the next morning and needed a late checkout! The motel is away from the main streets and quite close to the river. One of the nicest motels I've stayed in. Family room (no 10) great value for $150 for 5 people.

Room Tip: Only 19 rooms, I think, all seemed fairly similar. No 10 caters for families.

I found this beautiful boutique motel on trip advisor when searching for a 2 night stay coming from the Gold Coast and wanting to take the kids to see Byron Bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very relaxing atmosphere and great clean rooms. Excellent air con in the rooms on a very hot day and the kids loved the pool. A great place to stay, very happy and will be back when travelling up the north coast. It is great value for money. The beds were so comfortable. Highly Recommended!!!
