“Byron Bay Bliss”
Reviewed 26 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We booked the house for 5 nights (pre wedding accommodation for us and for our family the night of our wedding). It was a beautiful house, well styled, clean and open plan. The deck and pool were great for entertaining. The neighbourhood was quiet so it was a very pleasant experience.
Check in was very easy and straight forward - good communication.
We would book the house again if we return to Byron in the near future.

“Divine cottage in a perfect locale”
Reviewed 21 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

The cottage is simply divine.

Beautiful floor plan with open, airy rooms and an superb outdoor living area next to the pool. Lovingly landscaped with tropical plants the setting is private, cool and filled with native birds.

The kitchen was a pleasure to use - light, airy, and fantastic counter space making it a breeze to bring home our treasures from the local producers market and cook up something splendid.

The bathrooms were spacious and sparkling clean.

Everything we reached for was there...dishes, linens, great w/d, you name it.

And the decorating? Tastefully done with a bit of cottage chic. The sofa is divine and hosted many an afternoon nap after nodding off with a good book.

Thank goodness for the salt water pool. Hard to tell what was lovelier to wake up to - the pool or the delicious coffee from The Top Shop (just around the corner). Ok, Both.

We were a party of 4 - parents and 2 grown children. We could have easily had a larger group and still felt relaxed but in our case it was the perfect size. It is also on our list for booking for just the 2 of us as it was one of "those" that just feels right.

We'll DEFINITELY book in again as this is a treasure.

“Quiet comfort, close to beach and town”
Reviewed 14 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

A Summer Cottage has spacious comfort and is fully equipped for cooking with lovely indoor/outdoor living. For those who like holiday walks this accommodation is close to the beach and town centre for cafes, restaurants and shopping. Is also great for the longer walk to the lighthouse. The cottage is tucked away in a quiet area, great for winding down and sleeping well.

“The best place to stay in Byron”
Reviewed 20 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A Summer Cottage has the perfect location, set in a quiet lane way only five minutes walk from the beach and ten minutes walk from the town itself, which can be very busy so it's nice to be just outside of the holiday crowds. The place itself is fresh with modern styling, open plan living spaces and perfectly decked out for a beach holiday with everything you might need, including boogie boards, beach chairs, great plunge pool, nice yard and games and toys if you have kids and the weather is rainy. A great sized deck for lazy afternoons and mornings and a BBQ as well as an entertainers kitchen. We found lots of little extras were included so found we didn't need to bring half the things we did like beach towels, detergents, soaps, hairdryers etc. And there is a great little coffee shop only a couple of minutes walk up around the corner. It;s not the cheapest or the dearest place either. Everything was perfect and we will always stay here now in comparison to other rentals we've tried in Byron.

“Lovely seaside house”
Reviewed 6 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Great place to stay for Byron Bay. Walking distance to the shops (15mins) and Clarkes Beach (10 mins). The positives were the pool - small, but perfect for cooling down; the huge verandah for sitting out reading or eating, even when it poured; coved parking; big fridge and freezer; the comfiest sofa in the sitting room;peaceful at night, although noisy dawn chorus from the birds! Negatives weren't many - perhaps the kitchen could have been better equipped for cooking, more plastic glasses for outside. Lovely restaurants within a 15-20 Nutella walk. Top shop great, though quite prices. Byron farmers market excellent - strongly recommend it for fruit, veg, meat, eggs and juices. Would definitely recommend, and would stay in this house again. Great to have a keyless property, so the teenagers could come and go without us getting stressed that they might lose a key or lock themselves out.
