This was a bit hard to review because the B&B goes under several different names.

The owner of this hotel was horribly rude, we had booked in for 3 nights but upon arrival she told us our credit card was no good so she had only booked us in for one night and placed us in another hotel for the rest of our stay. The credit card was perfectly fine and she did book us in for the first night which didn't add up to our card not working. This created a lot of stress for our short weekend trip, as we had to spend the first night trying to sort out what was wrong with our overseas bank. Which turned out to be nothing. We offered cash but she had already given the room away.

The breakfast which was included was the worst we had ever had, we had to help ourselves from the owners dirty kitchen, the muesli was almost out, the bread was dry, and the jam had to be picked out of a dirty old jam glass. We also had to clean the dishes so we could eat off them! Maybe this is OK in a hostel but not at a B&B in this price range.

This could be a good B&B if it was better run but don't risk it!

The Byron Bay Guest House is on a quiet residential street. It was a bit of a walk to the ocean, or town, but if the neighborhood was more interesting it could have been enjoyable. The bathroom for our room was a large glass box in the corner. It was a nice glass box, with marble tile and beautiful silk curtains covering one side, but it was a glass box. The bed was very comfortable with a plush comforter. Donna, our hostesss was not around much, but when I did corner her to ask some questions about activities she was informative. At ~$135 US it was over priced.
