The Apartments Inn, Byron Bay, was a last minute booking using TripAdvisor as a guide. The apartment we stayed in was massive, with a huge balcony, and a sofa separating the room. The bathroom had a dual shower, with a spa bath, and shutters looking into the main room.

The car park was easily accesible, and the location of the apartments was great. Do not miss this place if you stay in Byron.

Excellently located, spacious and comfortable accommodation in the centre of boho Byron Bay, small swimming pool and adjacent to St Elmo's restaurant. Rooms included two double bedrooms, on ensuite, family bathroom and large living/dining room.

Pros - parking garage, nice bathroom, balcony overlooking pool, central location, quiet.
Cons - Sparsely furnished room, not much character (hallways have a army barracks feel).

Great place if your not into the partying scene. Was very quiet for my 2 day stay. The on-site café/ bar was closed during my stay so that may have contributed to the lack of excitement.

We were only in Byron for a couple of nights but this place was great.
Try to get a downstairs room with access to the pool, ours was very spacious with everything we needed. Pool small but all that is required, the location is great and the staff really friendly and helpful. How is it that Australia does these sorts of places so well?

This place is really centrally located and that was a major factor when picking this as a place to stay. The convenience is unbeatable! The rooms are clean, comfortable and well thought out so we were very happy. The staff were lovely , the only complaint we had was our sink plug was jammed making the sink unusable. Upon reporting this to reception they gave us instructions (which didn't work) on how to fix it. Next time perhaps offer to show people how it's done. The only other problem with the place is if you are staying there of a weekend you are going to get the street noise of party goers. We were woken up in the early
hours both nights which is not the hotels fault it's just another thing to consider when staying amongst the action. The hotel is also located above St Elmo's tapas bar which is well worth a visit but because it's so busy - attracts a lot of noise also. All in all a good stay though and we would recommend based on location.

Central to all the action. Five minutes walk to beach, restaurants and town. Staff all hepfull particularly Dee.who after 3 days was our friend. Maps, directions and nothing was a problem. As a senior couple it was perfect here. On the street we seemed to be the oldest in town. Big room away from noisy studio rooms. Our room 5a. had comfortable King bed and space to spare Very clean and modern. Secure parking included in price. Only negative, no view from room but other than that could not be better. Pool nice but very open to busy eyes.

Room Tip: 5a very big room, can be family room with 5b. No view and stairs but quiet and private.

I made a last-minute booking at the Apartments Inn Byron in order to catch-up with some interstate friends staying at the apartments. We stayed one night, so therefore had to book two studio rooms as there is a minimum booking of two nights for larger rooms. I shared a "B" room with my daughter and my husband shared an "A" room with my other daughter. The B room was quite a bit more spacious than the A room, though the price was the same (about $250 AUD each, per night). The rooms are neat, tidy and pleasantly minimal in design / furnishing. However, upon entering our room I was greeted by a rather large cockroach scuttling across the carpet to hide under the bed. Ugh.
The bathroom was basic but fine. And a decent hairdryer is provided (which is shockingly uncommon even in the best 5 star hotels, so this was a good bonus).
Location-wise, the hotel is fab. It's a short walk to the beach, and it is in the midst of restaurants, cafes etc. The pool area is decent, though probably needs more lounge chairs / seating. Management also need to keep an eye on guests "claiming" the limited seating with their towels and heading off for hours. A family of 4 were left with nowhere to sit except scorching pavers after 4 young girls upped and left for a long stretch of time, leaving their towels etc on the lounge chairs.
The tapas restaurant on the ground floor is really good. Great food and service.
Check out the local markets if you're in Byron too - there are a few, and they have a good variety of food / arts & crafts etc.
Overall, I liked this place and had a great stay. Hopefully, they'll get on top of the pest control!

Room Tip: "B" rooms are more spacious than "A" rooms. Aircon units sometimes won't wo...
