A real treat, my daughter works in Byron and wanted to come to this restaurant as a treat. As with many places in Byron it is attractive, busy and loud. This took away slightly from trying to hear what our server was trying to explain the evening's specials were and our own questions about the dishes.
In fairness, it was a very busy night. We arrived at the door without booking (advisable) but after a short wait we were found a generous space for such a busy restaurant. Thank you.
We weren't disappointed. Four or five dishes were recommended for a couple. We chose four just in case there was room for dessert. There wasn't. Four was ample.
We ordered a platter of dried ham, scallops, duck and patatas bravas. All there hot dishes were cooked perfectly, portion sizes were excellent except for the scallops which were small.
Well flavoured and served well.
Our server Amber, recommended a good rosé wine to pair and were good to go.
The dishes were brought out separately, giving you time to enjoy each one.
Prices are a bit on the high side for some of the dishes but we had a good meal and were not rushed at all.
Worth a second visit? Perhaps on a future visit to Byron.
